We visited this resort from 5/2-5/9. We arrived to the resort around 6pm, checked in and went to dinner at the buffet. After dinner we went to our room and noticed it was not the room we reserved. We reserved a double bed, ocean view for 4 people. We were given a room with 1 king size bed. We contacted reception to let them know and she asked why were we just calling now (8pm) when we checked in at 6pm, she had an attitude and asked us to come down to reception which we did. Once at reception she told us they gave us that room after they noticed we had 2 children. I explained we reserved a double bed to accommodate 4 people and had also asked for a crib. She insisted that’s the only room they had and if we wanted a double bed we would be put on a floor without an elevator, making us carry 2 children and a stroller up one or two flights. After a lot of back and forth, we were given the room we reserved, at the end of our conversation she still stated the first room was given to us because we have 2 kids and they believed we all fit in 1 king size bed. We didn’t want to argue as we were starting our vacation and wanted to have a good time. The crib was eventually taken to our room as well.
This resort shares their amenities with the resort next door The Royal Solaris. You have to take quite a walk to enjoy the larger pool, entertainment and visit the buffet and restaurants. The food is ok, often watered down or not enough for all guests.
