The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The shower was small but mighty! All members of staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful, and we enjoyed a very tasty and filling breakfast in the morning. Check-in and check-out were all completed via a text message. Very easy and convenient. A thumbs up all round. Would definitely stay again if I was in the area. My only issue (not with the accommodation) was the mobile phone service in the area was poor on my network. Struggled to get my phone sat nav to load up and nearly didn't make it back in the evening as we got lost in the dark! Absolutely no issues / complaints re the accommodation. A very enjoyable stay.

We booked a last-minute one-night stay after a day at West Midlands Safari Park, and it turned out to be a wonderful decision. From the moment we arrived at The Hadley Bowling Green, we felt welcome. The team member who checked us in was friendly and attentive, setting the tone for a relaxing stay. The setting is beautiful—far more charming than the photos suggest. We enjoyed drinks in the beer garden, a perfect sunny spot to unwind. Dinner was a highlight: fresh, well-presented, and full of flavour. One small note—fish and chips is listed with two prices, which we assumed meant standard or large. We didn’t request large but were charged for it. Not a major issue, and possibly a misunderstanding, but clearer guidance would help. We also had another table’s drinks added to our bill, though this was quickly and politely resolved. Our room was comfortable with thoughtful touches like freshly baked cookies and magazines. Breakfast was outstanding—10/10. Service was warm, and the ingredients excellent. The Butcher’s Breakfast (small supplement) was well worth it, with plenty of other great options too. Overall, a fantastic stay. We’d happily return. Updating the marketing photos would better reflect how lovely the property and food truly are. Thank you to the team!

I’ve now stayed at this hotel a few times. It is a very nice comfortable hotel convenient for my needs. Restaurant and staff very pleasant. Will definitely be staying here again in the future.

The staff were lovely especially the young man who checked us in and explained everything we needed. The food was fantastic we ate at the pub that night and stayed bed and breakfast. The breakfast was fantastic .

The Inn is such a nice place to stay, the food is surprisingly good and staff is very friendly. The only minor thing is a rather narrow shower. There's a lot of things to see and do in the area.

This is a lovely place to stay. It is just off the M5 in a rural location. A beautiful pub with history. The staff are welcoming and friendly. The rooms are tastefully decorated and very clean and comfortable. The food choices are varied and when served, well presented. We will stay again when we are visiting family in Cheshire or Scotland.
