Rating & Review Keseluruhan Trolltunga Hotel

Gammelt slitt hotell. Resepsjonen og lobby er rett og slett en tragedie, som sårt trenger oppgradering. Betalte 1850 kr for et rom med eget bad. Knøttlite rom, lite bad med råteskader på listverk. Kaldt på rommet, da radiatoren så vidt var lunken. God middag i restauranten, men det var bare 2 retter; gris og laks å velge mellom. God frokost. Alt i alt, ikke verdt pengene.

Varmmat til frokosten blir kald!

Bra mat i restaranten, fin beliggenhet, stort og godt rom inkl bad. Norges tørreste brød og polarbrød til frokost, eller ok. Kan fort komme tilbake. Utenfor sesong, derfor lite folk, noe som er et pluss.

Kr 1650 for et rom uten bad er for dyrt.

Beautiful location!!

This hotel was perfect for our situation, driving through the beautiful Norway countryside. The room was excellent, and the restaurant was awesome! I would highly recommend this property.

Vi bodde på et rom nær inngangen og hver gang noen gikk ut eller inn bråket det nok til at vi våknet. Vasken på rommet dryppet hele tiden og det var umulig å stenge. Hadde problemer med vifi tilknytning og ble møtt med en laber interesse av å finne ut av problemet. Frokosten var veldig bra. Prisen var i høyeste laget.

Simple basic

Utrolig lite rom. Minus at det ikke er bad/toalett på rommet, står ikke helt i forhold til prisen. Ellers ok frokost og god betjening.

We had a great stay at the Trolltunga Hotel. Check in was easy (our room was ready early), and the hotel is well appointed and comfortable. There is a bar at the check in counter, as well as an outdoor balcony with seating overlooking the fjord. There is also a spacious full-service restaurant on the bottom level with a great breakfast buffet. The room itself was exactly what we needed for one night before our Trolltunga hike. It was clean and comfortable. The hotel also allowed us to store our bags and pick them up after our hike. There was also a great hiking loop right near the hotel. And the information sessions the night before the Trolltunga hikes are held every night in the hotel lobby, which was very convenient. The Odda buss and taxi stop for Trolltunag are conveniently located. We would definitely recommend staying here before your Trolltunga hike!

This hotel is great especially if you are planning on staying the night before hiking away in the mountains. It was easy to find and priced well for the area and country. We were in one of the older rooms and everything was clean and tidy. One thing that was downside is that the bathroom was all tile and you showered on the same floor with no separation to where the toilet and sink were. This was not a big deal but might be challenging for some. The staff is very friendly and easy to reach through the front desk.

Wonderful location and low-key, friendly, backpacker vibe. Worth knowing that petit double rooms are *tiny* and wifi is not reliable throughout the hotel - should really be upgraded.
