Jeg elsket dette hotellet! Rommet var litt lite, men fint. God dusj. Hard seng og harde puter. Restauranten og baren var skikkelig koselig! God stemning og fyr i peisen. Maten var helt fantastisk! Beste på hele turen vår i England. Kommer gjerne tilbake!

The pub was lively and welcoming. The room however, although clean, was in need of redecorating and the facilities were quite worn.

The accommodation was ok, evening meal choice & quality very good, breakfast only available at the weekend…!

Fabulous old English country inn situated in a stunning spot in Oxfordhsire. Ooozes history and charm with fabulous walks and places to see round about.

Perfect base to attend an event in the area. Great breakfast !

The bed cover was dirty and full of stains. When turned the bath tap on the shower head shot off in the air with the water pressure. I was using the bath luckily. Looks like it is broken not even attached! Finding out at checkin that there is no breakfast at all for morning was disappointing. The tea kettle tray on window sill has what looks like a piece of hard bird poo. That’s about it, a bit disappointing overall!! lady next to me in restaurant had an off cheesecake, I was going to order!

A lovely overnight stay. Lovely old pub and a great breakfast. Comfortable bed and a nice room. The only criticism is the bathroom extractor fan didn't work and the room became quite steamy after a shower. Putting that aside, we will definitely stay there again.

Amazing food, lovely location, rooms tastefully decorated, but need better soundproofing from adjoining rooms. Also the skip outside was not a welcome sight.
