We checked-in and checked-out and told each time that we had paid "the a 3rd party app." On check-in, we were told we should not have used Expedia to reserve the room in April because Expedia does not pay them well. On check-out, we were told we could have get a receipt because we had paid with a 3rd party app and treated again with distain. The carpet was very dirty! I was told the hotel would be remodeled in two weeks. However, the beds were clean. After the first night, we visited places in the area during the day. We returned at 4 PM to find our room not cleaned but torn apart. One bed was partially stripped, and pillows were on the other bed, but nothing else was cleaned! Dirty towels were still in the bathroom. Manager came up and called cleaning person, and yelled at her in front of us and made her clean the room! The woman apologized that she was distracted and had not finished but listed the room as cleaned. The pool was not clean. Water in the main pool was covered in foam like spit and too cold to enter. Others using the hot tub were talking about the lack of cleanliness. Even so, the breakfast was very good, and those workers were nice and helpful. We will not stay there again.
