Friendly staff made you feel welcome

Great location for cycling.

Overall the hotel and location were excellent, all the staff were welcoming, helpful and friendly. We loved our room with our balcony overlooking the lake and river, we sat watching the birds every morning and evening. There were a few minor things that could be simply changed that would improve the stay, coffee in the room would be great, even if it were just sachets. We had to ask for sugar and toilet rolls to be topped up. At breakfast many of the breakfast items weren’t topped up regularly enough so you found yourself asking for this. Finally there just wasn’t enough cupboard space for clothes when staying for more than a week and no space for the ladies to hang long dresses.

Great quiet hotel. Half hour walk to the main strip. Close to train station 5 minutes walk. Great fish restaurants nearby. Gym needs heavier weights. Brilliant experience

Need transport to get around but central for travelling around the Algarve. Clean and tidy hotel with friendly helpful staff. Good internet. Gluten free and other allergies could be listed on food labels so as not to have to ask kitchen staff every day.

Out stay was excellent, staff really friendly especially the bar and restaurant. My only complaint was the Housekeeping was not to a very high standard, towels forgotten one day, no visit at all one day, glass and floors not very clean. This didn't spoil are stay though really enjoyed our time there.

Het hotel heeft nood aan een opknapbeurt. De schuiframen op onze junior suite schoven heel moeizaam. De ligbedden aan het zwembad hadden hun beste tijd gehad. Daags voor ons vertrek zijn deze wel vervangen door nieuwe. Personeel is heel vriendelijk en het ontbijt is heel goed. De ligging van het hotel is ideaal.

Check in process for ok. The room I was given was perfect. Unfortunately at 9:15pm the neighbours were being super loud. Couldn’t get through to reception so went down to reception with my luggage.

The staff were friendly. The hotel was fine. I could stay there again. However, there is room for improvement. I reserved a room with a river view. My room had a farm view with cows and horses. I complained, the front desk told me my room was not supposed to have the river view. I have never been in a hotel where we are required to wear a swim-cap to get into a Jacuzzi. We do not swim in a jacuzzi, our head does not get into the water in the jacuzzi and yet, we are required to pay for a swim cap to get inside the jacuzzi. The breakfast buffet was good. However, there is something that I found funny. There is a person dressed up as a chef on an egg station. This person nicely dressed as a chef does not make omelets or scrambled eggs, or anything else. The person is there to make fried eggs. I find it funny that the hotel dress someone up as a chef to fry eggs and cannot make omelets for the clients. Anyway, some improvements are need for them to get a 5 star review.
