Really nice hotel, check in was awesome, one of my pet hates is checking in to a hotel and it is as if you hadn't pre-booked and you are stood there for five minutes watching the receptionist tapping away at their keyboard and printing papers for you to sign and eventually printing your key card, at the Woburn I walked into the reception and told them my name, they welcomed me and passed me the key! Perfect!!!

Can’t believe this is only 3*.. it’s truly a great place to stay. Nothing is a problem. We had a 2 storey cottage, loads of space and fans to cool the room down in the blistering heatwave. Food served from the bar area is very well priced, great presentation and delicious. There’s ample car parking, easy walking distance to the local village shops and perfect for touring further afield like Woburn Abbey and the Safari Park. I’d definitely stay here again.

Arrived relatively late (last one in for the night) and was still welcomed with smiles, it made the end of a long day, better.

Lovely hotel in a pretty village with plenty of good restaurants and pubs within walking distance. Only downside is no air conditioning, but plenty of fans in corridors and rooms.

Too many emails received before and after the stay from the airport to book direct. The room was good, clean and well equipped. I regret the look time it took for the staff to take my order during the diner and at the breakfast. One remark, could be good to have air conditioning.

Excellent place to stay lovely food great service

We always choose this hotel when we’re in the area. It’s clean, good value for money, with plenty of parking, comfortable beds, good coffee machines in the room and the option to eat in the hotel restaurant or in one of the nearby eateries. Be prepared for poor mobile reception - it’s quite nice to be off grid for a while.

Location, Location Location!

We’ve stayed at this lovely hotel before. Set in the centre of beautiful Woburn, it is close to all amenities and has a large car park. The rooms are large and clean and the beds are comfortable. The toiletries smell lovely and the coffee machine is a bonus. We had everything we needed in our quiet room and the tv was an appropriate size (I.e. not so small that a telescope is required to see it from the bed). The seating area and table are great for work, although there is very limited telephone reception. This time didn’t eat dinner in the hotel (we chose to eat at the excellent Rai Indian Restaurant over the road), but we did stay for breakfast. The choice was excellent and although we boringly went for full English, we weren’t disappointed in the well-cooked quality ingredients.

The room was full of clothes moths. We reported this to the staff who didn’t seem to be interested. The carpets, particularly in the communal areas were dirty and worn.

Great quiet clean room. Everything was great. Staff was very nice even though they were so busy. The surroundings were great. Walking was very fun. Great parking. Food was great for dinner and for breakfast. Breakfast was very good with small buffet and to order

Woburn is gorgeous. If you want to get away from internet and phone connections: this is the place. The hotel is right in the heart of the village with plenty of free car parking spaces. It’s beautiful. We arrived on a bank holiday and it was very busy. With no internet, we couldn’t use remote check in, but we didn’t have to wait long. Our room was large, bright and clean and the bed was really comfortable. We appreciated the Nespresso coffee machine. The restaurant was ok (lovely staff and surroundings but with food choices better on our first night than on the second where most items were not available). We’ve had many better meals in that price range.
