Beatifil scenery , perfect setting. Staff pleasant and efficient. Food excellent. What more can I say. Beautiful hitel with kind and efficient people.

Nice room

Great food. Lovely staff (need to grab their attention if you need anything). Single bed is small. I'd suggest a larger single for comfort. Bit of a wait for breakfast ordering and takes a while to come out (I was there on business and needed to allow more time).

Lovley hotel

I have stayed at this hotel previously. On this occasion, I booked three separate rooms for my family, for extended periods. The hotel is first class in all respects. Wonderful.

Beautiful dual aspect spacious room, very pleasant courteous staff always happy to help. One of the only hotels with its own parking in Eastbourne. Easy to walk up to beachyhead, seafront or hop on a bus .

Everything is perfect except the bed - it's too soft.

We have stayed here before but this was just an overnight due to family business. The staff are unfailing helpful and courteous. The property itself shows its age but that is part of its charm.

Lovely hotel in a good position on the outskirts of Eastbourne , walking distance from the lovely village of Mead. Where there are shops and two pub/ restaurants. We found the staff to be both helpful and charming . Many thanks for an enjoyable stay .

Location is great, within walking distance of seafront and town centre. Quiet by night. Pool area is nice. Downsides are the rooms are cramped - (or at least lower category ones are) - in a side seaview room there is only enough room for one person to walk around the bed at once. Bathroom is tired with a very weak hose shower over the bath. Breakfast was just OK. Service is poor, all the customers had to keep trying to get staff attention for what they needed. Some of the food is iffy - scrambled eggs are inedible (reconstituted?). I'd stay again for the location if I felt inclined to pay more for a bigger room.

We have stayed there quite a few times, always a pleasure to stay there.
