Hotel padrão 2 ou 3 estrelas , nada de excepcional

We booked a suite after sleeping the three nights before in a tent on the Inca Trail. It was perfect. The room had lots of living space and a comfortable king sized bed. We took advantage of laundry services and were able to have our hiking clothes cleaned before we had to check out the next morning. The hotel is in a nice location on the Main Street and near the hot springs.

We book a weeks stay here by mistake then couldnt get a refund, its ok if thats all you want but its nothing special.

Friendly and helpful staff. Great breakfasts. Comfortable beds. Nice view. At the top of the hill from train station and bus stop.

This hotel is overall very good. Just one concern is that it is on top of the hill and if you are traveling from abroad and not used to high altitude, it is difficult to climb due to steep stairs. I think this is the highest altitude hotel in this town. The staff was very helpful though to get our luggage up and down.

I booked my room is 501 , on the 5th floor, which has a balcony and the view was incredibe ( i love mountains.) and breathtaking.😍😍😍. I wish I can stay a few more days. The breakfast was amazing tons of varieties. Delicious and quality breakfast. And they do have a Porter going to train station to help you with your luggage, bringing them to on top of the hill which is the hotel located. Hot Spring location is located behind a hotel. Only less than five minutes walk you will reach Husband) spring entrance. But from the entrance to the hot spring pools, you need to walk for another 10 minutes uphill.

I think this hotel had the best views in town. Adequate accommodations considering the remote location of the town. This would be my choice hotel if stayed at Machu Picchu Pueblo again.

This property is at the top end of town. About a 7 minute walk from the train station. We were met by an employee to bring our bags up to the hotel. Along the way he pointed out where to meet the bus for going to Machu Picchu. Check in was quick and staff were all friendly. Room was clean. Had a great sleep. Breakfast the next morning had everything needed for a good start to the day. Check out is early, 9 am, but they will keep your bags while you are at Machu Picchu. Highly recommend.

Had a wonderful stay! The hotel was clean, comfortable, and the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. Great location and excellent service — I would definitely stay here again.

Great breakfast, comfy bed, and a super friendly staff! We really appreciated that our bags were delivered to the train station for us after hiking all day. Highly recommend this hotel.

Good option if you are on the move.

We were pleasantly surprised at the quality of this hotel. We had a very comfortable room, King bed was great, and we had a small seating area in our suite, which was nice. The bathroom was adequate, not luxury but definitely as expected. The view was fantastic out the window!

Our stay at the Typikala Boutique Hotel had some positives, but overall did not match a four-star experience. The staff was kind—Victor the bellboy was especially helpful, and the front desk and housekeeping teams were pleasant. Breakfast was decent. However, the bathroom had a strong sewage smell throughout our stay, making it very uncomfortable. The overall condition of the room also felt worn and below standard. At around $100/night, expectations are lower, but labeling this as a four-star hotel is misleading. It felt closer to a two-star property. Because of the odor issue, we would not stay here again.

Great hotel

I definitely wouldn’t consider this hotel to be 4-star. In my experience it was 2.5 to 3 star. Rooms lack air conditioning and fan provided was noisy. Most helpful person was the bellman. Check in / Check out staff was on par with a 3 star hotel. Breakfast was bit more than a 3 star hotel but lacked variety and hours were only until 9 AM. Room and bathroom definitely needed upgrade in terms of furnishings and fixtures. All in all it was a manageable one night stay for us.

Everyone was nice and accommodating. We got checked in early, which was great as we had been hiking for 3 days. Food and staff very nice and good English. Thank you
