Exceptionally Helpful Staff

The pool is fantastic and the staff are extremely warm and welcoming. The gardens are pretty and our room was spacious, clean and the air conditioning, bed and shower were all good. The entertainment amenities (bikes, golf, tennis, games room etc) are very dated and could use a refresh - but we were mainly there for the pool and to break up the journey to Wilpattu after flying into Colombo, so it was fine for us and what we needed. There is nothing around the resort so best to book the all-inclusive or half board unless you have a driver.

Good food and entertainment

To juz moj drugi pobyt w tym hotelu. Domki mieszkalne usytuowane sa na terenie duzego ogrodu wsrod pieknej i egzotycznej roslinnosci. Na wyposazeniu pokoju jest duze i wygodne lozko, lodowka, umeblowany taras. Woda pitna uzupelniana jest codziennie. Jedzenie pyszne i urozmaicone, kazdy znajdzie cos dla siebie. Basen duzy z mnostwem lezakow wokół niego. Procedura covid przestrzegana jest na kazdym kroku: maseczki, rekawiczki, plyn do dezynfekcji. Szczegolne podziekowania należą sie calemu personelowi zawsze uśmiechniętemu i zyczliwemu.

location is good.. rooms are in good quality... but service is very poor.. not recommending this hotel to any one...

No essential room amenities like toothbrush/toothpaste/shaving equipment.

Swimming pool and arrangement of garden is good. Cleanliness of pool has to be considered as crow birds are bathing always

While the food was quite good, the hotel itself is old and tired and most of the service staff do not know what service is...the pool bar has 1 menu card so you have to wait till the next table chooses their food..1 steward for the entire pool bar as well..great facilities for water sports in the pool..a mini BB court..mini golf, futsal etc..all that is good but with large crowds like on that holiday weekend the pool gets pretty full and also pretty dirty...

Property is nice and clean. There was a delay in checking as hotel was over crowded.

It's a very old resort and the facilities have not been updated in ages. Most of the food at the buffet is horrible, food you order via room service is horrible and takes more than an hour to arrive, and most of the staff cannot speak in English. The WiFi has a reasonable speed (around 8 Mb/s download), however is shared between 3 rooms at a time so if anyone else is on the network you are screwed.

I hope I have selected the correct images . It was great time there though short . Staff were very friendly and helpful. I must congratulate for having a good mixture of members from the Sinhalese and Tamil community

Very nice hotel close to the sea and the lagoon. Wish to have an another holiday

Spacious clean rooms, enormous pool. Brilliant for kids with a shallow section all the way around the edge. Only downside to the pool is that there was very little shade in the water (plenty of shade on the side if you wanted it). Staff all super friendly and helpful with our two kids (ages 2.5yrs and 7 months). Very little to do in the vicinity (a couple of restaurants nearby - we rated Tao - a 5 min walk south), but a couple of enterprising tuktuk drivers outside the gate will take you on local tours for a small fee. or local tour guides can take you on 2-3 day tours (a/c minibus) further afield to some of the more popular sights. Buffet extensive with a good variety of food.

Nice place . we enjoyed to the max. The place was nice. We were allocated a room as per our request. It is a very calm and quite place. food was excellent.

Excellent place. Felt good and welcome by all staff. A mini town on it's own makes it a wonderful place

We enjoyed our stay at Club Palm Bay as a family. Good food, service and comfort.
