Great room, lovely staff, good location between Trowbridge and Bradford on Avon. The addition of a coffee machine in their dining room would bring them up to 5 stars, but otherwise it's a lovely place and we'd recommend them.

Fabulous property, loads of character and in a great setting in a quiet and safe location. Room was wonderful, spacious and well appointed with fabulous bed and bathroom. The only downside was a TV missing a controller ( that the staff were unable to source a replacement), the toilet cistern leaking a bit onto the floor. We were shown the continental breakfast, but no mention of a cooked breakfast being available until half way through - the cooked is far better value. All in all a great hotel, that with a little more TLC would be fabulous.

Clean friendly relaxed attentive staff. Super comfy bed. Great food. However, the chef was unexpectedly off 2 days running, so no cooked breakfast. Also the furniture in the room needs a bit of TLC and a bigger mirror on the tea table would look better.

Overall good stay but TV was not working and the staff didn’t seem too keen to sort it out. Reception staff were not the most welcoming.

The staff were great. The room was basic but very clean and comfortable. Great place to stay.

The property was very run down, the bed needed replacing very uncomfortable, slip mat in bathroom as moldy and had loads of holes in it. Noise from the room above was awful especially at 6.00 am in the morning. Continental breakfast not bad, cooked breakfast fine. We ate in the restaurant one night and food was excellent. Would not recommend this hotel until a full refurbishment has been made.

Functional hotel and
