Wow! I used to live on Sunny coast and recently went up to visit some friends. Chose to stay in a 2 bedroom unit with view @ Monaco - it was absolutely beautiful! Views were phenomenal. Apartment was super clean (by Maddie!) and hotel staff were lovely! Pool might not be huge but it’s perfect, spa, splash area! Will never stay anywhere else. Thank you for a great stay!

Great location

Our stay was for a wedding anniversary and we were very disappointed. Room was not reflective of photos used to advertise. Room was clearly privately owned (including personal items in draws) and was a disability access room (rails all through bathroom, modified kitchen and extremely low island bench in lieu of a table, that was not usable). Reported to staff as soon as we checked in however was told no other options for the duration of our stay.

Our 3 bedroom apartment was in a great location, plenty of parking for us, and the apartment layout was fabulous. We did have a problem with the wind noise from the front door, and the carpet was very marked in the entry. Check-in was easy and the staff were friendly. Loved the spa pool, even on our wet and wild weekend in November.

Simply accomodation, great location. Only downer was the bed - really soft and bouncy, and quite small

The apartment was beautiful and spacious, with a great layout and wonderful view of the lagoon and ocean (level 10). The bathroom was huge with a spa bath. The apartment had everything we needed, reception was very friendly, parking was easy - all of this made for a very relaxing and enjoyable stay and we wouldn't hesitate to come back.

Great view

Property is getting old and dated. Many areas haven’t been cleaned for a while, blinds, top of cupboards etc Bed is a bit hard and not too comfy to sleep on. Nice pool and sauna, good location

Wow, what a place. Quite, easy parking, close to shops, restaurants and wow ! What a view. Beautiful pool.area, they even have a Sauna as well as a Gym and Spa.! Everything you need for that one stop holiday experience. We loved it

Getting a bit tired the apartment we had needs updating. Staff friendly. TV Remote not working so didn’t get to watch it. Stains on carpet and no hot water on last day. Reclining seat doesn’t go back so didn’t use again. Wind whistling through door jam and under door and couldn’t stop it. Patio Sliding door didn’t lock.

Probably the best apartment we have been in for our regular family gatherings on the Sunshine Coast. We will be back

Great location to shops, restaurants and beach

The staff at Monaco were amazing! We had a flight cancelled late at night with two little kids and they were beyond helpful to get us back into our room with no fuss. Couldn’t recommend this place enough! Also lovely rooms and facilities and walking distance to everything you need.

Such a wonderful stay. I have been here a couple of times before and it just as magic as the first time. The setting is amazing, facilities are well maintained and equipped, it is just a perfect little place like a utopian paradise. Thank you for another fantastic stay.

Great views, great spa bath, close to esplanade and shops

We were in apartment 509 on the fifth level with views mainly to the south for this stay. The apartment is getting a little tired and worn but still great for a family of 6 to be able to stay together. There is plenty of crockery, cutlery and serving dishes including plastic children’s crockery in the well set out kitchen. The main tv in the living area is set for Foxtel but would be better if it was like the tv in the main bedroom which is a normal smart tv where Netflix etc can be viewed. The worst things in this apartment were the exhaust fan ducts in the bathrooms and aircons were so full of fluff and dust that we weren’t game to use the air conditioning, though luckily it was cool enough to go without. The resort pools and spa are great though the spa chlorine level was so high that my eyes stung from the moment I entered. We chose the Monaco again because of it’s proximity to beach and town and as it has 3 bedroom apartments which is what we required.

Overall a great place to stay with two reservations that affected our stay. Firstly the A/C was not working on arrival and thus the apartment was very cold until two days later when the staff were able to source a heater and extra blankets. The A/C is clearly overly complicated and not up to standard. Secondly what 3 star accommodation these days still only has queen sized beds, Let alone Monaco that claims a 4/5 star rating. The staff were great but the heating was not good and the bed needs upgrading to come into the 21st century.
