Formerly a Viscount's residence, the photogenic Costa Del Sol Cusco sits in a great location, walkably close to the center of a beautiful city. Meals in the hotel restaurant and at the breakfast buffet were fantastic. Staff were very helpful. Our room had uncomfortably overstuffed pillows that might have been designed by the Spanish Inquisition, so thick they threaten to break your neck. In fairness, my body was getting used to the thin air in Cusco and that also played a role in my restless night. The bathroom exhaust fan rattled noisily, but the air conditioner's rattle was far worse, indicating a low standard of maintenance, which was surprising for a hotel of this caliber. Local attractions: We hiked around an amazing Incan ruin called SAQSAYWAMAN, elevation 12,139 feet (3701 meters), and later, back in Cusco (elevation 11,150 feet) my wife suffered a severe bout of altitude sickness. With the dry air, maybe dehydration also factored in, but suddenly at dinner she was hammered hard when a massive headache and multiple attacks of nausea struck. I have three suggestions to help you avoid altitude sickness: 1) don't fly to Cusco directly from Lima. First visit Arequipa at around 7000 feet so your body can gradually acclimate to Andes' elevations, especially if you live near sea level as we do; 2) you can buy little bottles of oxygen at any pharmacy, and those really help when you're struggling for breath; and 3) they sell altitude sickness drugs at every pharmacy.

I can’t say enough great thing about this hotel. The location is perfect. The hotel is clean and beautiful. The staff is ever present and always kind and helpful. I would stay here again.

algo paso en recepcion, pedi una noche mas y me la negaron que porque estaba lleno, pero si habia ya que al final la compre por hoteles.com ademas pedimos convertiror de energia y nos lo proporcionaron, pero despues nos dios cuenta que todos los cargadores que traiamos aguantaba ese voltaje. un poco mas de asesoria al personal ayudaria mucho al turista

Localização ÓTIMA! Bem próxima da Plaza Mayor de Cusco. Hotel lindo! Café da manhã super completo (e começa às 04:30 da manha)! Atendimento perfeito de todos os funcionários! Quarto ótimo (peguei com cama King)... quarto amplo, limpo e banheiro ótimo. Valeu demais! Super recomendo e voltaria!!

This is a beautiful property that makes you feel like you’re staying on a unique boutique hotel bit with all the amenities and comforts of a Wyndham hotel. The staff was the friendliest and most helpful staff I have ever encountered in any hotel. They were extremely professional and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. If you’re like me you judge a hotel by their water pressure and temperature and this shower did not disappoint. The beds were comfy and the room temperature was very comfortable. We enjoyed the restaurant very much and highly recommend the ceviche and lomo salteado. They had an amazing breakfast spread and the in room massages we booked were top tier. The property was just around the corner from the Plaza de Armas so all the festivities were close by. All in all, we have nothing bad to say and would 100% stay here again.

The best thing about the Wyndham Costa del Sol is its excellent location, just a couple of blocks from the Plaza de Armas, as well as having other shops and restaurants just outside the door. The hotel is well-staffed, and they were always happy to help with anything you need. The property is nice, especially the courtyard. The rooms are nice enough, I do think they can upgrade the bathroom which looks a bit dated and does not have the best hot/cold water control. Overall, a great property for the value.

This time we booked a Colonial Room. Number 231. It was disgusting because the plumbing is obviously old. It stank the whole time like sewage. We had to keep the bathroom door shut at all times. And the only window opens on the Gallery so that everybody walks by your room and has perfect views unless you keep the curtains closed all the time. Pay attention to what you book. Several days ago we had a superior room and it was great. Nothing comparable to the Colonial rooms. The staff was amazing like at our first stay. Very helpful and attentive. Breakfast was great and the distance to the main square is unbeatable.

Great location, close enough to the fun and action of Plaza de Armas, but far enough from all the noise. It’s a beautiful place. All the staff are so friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet is also delicious with lots of options. Will definitely stay here again if I come back to Cusco.

Sehr guter Service. Grosse Zimmer, sauber und schön gemütlich. Frühstück war sehr gut und auch schon ab 04:30Uhr. Perfekt um früh nach Machu Picchu zu fahren. Das Personal war sehr freundlich uns hilfsbereit und die Lage mitten in der Stadt ist top!
