Lovely stay - fantastic views

Very convenient to beach activities grocery shopping etc.

L’appartement est très spacieux, propre et confortable. Il possède tout le nécessaire pour cuisiner et on se gare facilement. L’environnement est calme. Le point gênant est juste la porte commune avec un autre appartement. Il y a de nombreuses activités dans les parties communes : billard, piscines, mini golf etc. L’emplacement était parfait dans les hauteurs près du point de vue de Cabo Girao. Il faut être à l’aise avec la conduite en montagne mais cela est valable tout le temps à Madère. Le dîner au restaurant de l’hôtel était très bon mais les quantités un peu justes. L’happy hour au bar est bien appréciable et à un tarif très abordable. Le petit dej buffet était complet avec suffisamment de choix. Il y a 2 restaurants de spécialités à proximité aussi très bien et avec des prix abordables. C’est un endroit convivial à Madère où nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir.

Appartement tres bien niveaux prestations et calme

C'est un complexe hotelier qui a beaucoup d'activités ausi bien pour les adultes que pour les enfants (tennis, golf, piscine,atelier, etc...). Il y a toutes les informations nécessaires pour organiser des visites à l'accueil. Le personnel est fort sympathique. C'est un endroit agréable entouré d'une magnifique végétation.

Das Hotel ist schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen und bräuchte hier und da eine Sanierung. Die Möbel sind ebenfalls schon sehr alt. Die Betten waren unglaublich unbequem. Das Frühstück war umfangreich und lecker, das Abendessen Buffet war den Preis leider absolut nicht wert. Das Personal war sehr hilfsbereit, außerordentlich freundlich und engagiert. Die Lage ist sehr ruhig, der Ausblick ist traumhaft. Parkmöglichkeiten direkt vor der Türe vorhanden. Der kleine Minimarkt im Hotel hat faire Preise und alles was man zur Grundversorgung braucht.

This was a last-minute booking as i had mislaid my passport. I made it to check-in with 1 minute to spare

God beliggenhed med udsigt over vandet. Dejlig rummelig lejlighed med alt hvad man behøver. God service i receptionen. Pool bar/restaurant har et lidt kedeligt menukort med pommes frites til alt. Det er nødvendigt at tage en elevator fra receptionen for at komme til poolen. Middag i den rigtige restaurant var en god oplevelse. Der er ingen indkøbsmuligheder i nærheden udover den lille købmand på selve resortet.

A szálláshely kifejezetten messze van a várostól. Csak taxival lehet megközelíteni, tömegközlekedés nincs! Ezt mindenki vegye figyelembe és számolja hozzá a költségekhez!

The complex had everything we needed. Spacious and clean apartment with an amazing view over Funchal and the sea, with a nice size balcony and outdoors seating. The downside was the road in-between the accommodation and the facilities. It was quiet late at night although the traffic in the morning with all the tourist vehicles coming up the hill was rather noisy. We live in a village, so noticed it. It was quiet by the pool side though. It has a restaurant and pool bar that does snacks at reasonable prices. There are two pools and sometimes I had the pool to myself to do laps. My highlight. Communication was excellent. Lots of information on what to do, and just ask if you don't know. The complex organises event nights, excursions, transportation, anything you need. It is on the highest point and away from Funchal, so if you want to be away from the capital which we found too built up, this is a great place. We were surprised how built up the south of the island is. Sometimes though, being high up, it attracts the clouds and cooler than being on the lower level of Funchal. Not much there without transport. You can get a local bus to Funchal and Lagos and a few other places. Or a shuttle bus from the complex, or a taxi. The complex organise with a few restaurants a shuttle bus to and from, which was perfect. A perfect place to relax and do some excursion and/or walks. I would recommend it for value.

Let's start with worst part: the employee called Carla at the bar. Rudeness and arrogance characterise her the most. Not an ounce of professionalism and a sense of service... For someone who was running the bar in the morning, she was a bad pick. Next: none of the spa amenities were working. The sauna was warm, reaching max 40° C (it should be minimum 60°C) and the Hammam at 36-39°C. Most of the jets in the jacuzzi didn't work and the water was cold. Thank goodness the pools were open and working... And lastly, most DVDs of those we chose are scratched. Putting that aside, most of the staff were really friendly and nice! The receptionists José, Nicole and Ofélia were very attentive and helpful. Lídia, our maid, was very professional and always asked if we needed a change of towels (cos we didn't need cleaning during our 6 night stay). The apartment itself was comfortable, but needs to be modernised. Those late 90s headboards are something worth getting rid of... Best thing: the view!

Wunderbar für Ausflüge

Séjour d'une semaine très agréable dans cet hôtel mi-club mi-residence. Les appartements sont très propres et bien équipées. Deux belles piscines dont une chauffée et intérieure. Spéciale mention à l'Aquagym tous les deux jours en semaine que nous avons particulièrement apprécié à 9h le matin (il faut s'inscrire la veille avant 18h. Mais nous nous sommes toujours inscrits plus tard et ça a marché) Il y a une buanderie avec des machines à laver et un sèche-linge dans chaque bloc d'appartements (gratuit). Il y a une petite supérette intérieure à l'hôtel pour faire quelques courses à des prix très raisonnables. Le snack au niveau de la piscine propose une petite carte simple et efficace (sandwich club, omelettes, frites, etc). Il y a aussi un restaurant plus élaboré pour le soir. L'hôtel étant un peu excentré et en hauteur, il vaut mieux avoir une voiture pour les visites. Sinon des excursions sont proposées. C'est à 5 minutes à pied à peine de l'attraction Cabo Girao. Si c'était à refaire, nous choisirions à nouveau cet hôtel car pour 120 € la nuit c'est un très bon rapport qualité prix.
