Rating & Review Keseluruhan Cambria Hotel Rapid City near Mount Rushmore

Our room and the front desk staff were great! However, we ate breakfast in the restaurant. It took over an hour and the food was not good. And our waiter made everyone very uncomfortable.

The shower soap and shampoo dispensers were empty. The mattress was caved in and very uncomfortable. One of the worst rests I've had on a hotel stay. The room was clean tho. The workers we interacted with (very few interactions) were polite.

Terrible , you can hear people moaning and what not , The sofa bed had dog hairs and bread crumbs like they didn't clean . No body wash,shampoo,conditioner. Reception was fantastic! The breakfast took an hour to get eggs and french toast! will not stay here again!

Towels were like sand paper, we didn’t have enough towels, poor lighting, coffee was terrible, only 2 garbage cans, sofa bed mattress was very lumpy, and front desk clerks were unfriendly, no free breakfast, and maintenance man had vulgar language in front of our children.

Last minute stay due to weather/flight cancellation. Shuttle driver extremely helpful. Front desk staff very helpful

Good comforting stay I am happy with my stat

Rooms were a bit beat up. Garbage under beds and under pull out couch. Spare sheets weee stained with yellow spots, phone did not work by the bed, caulk pulling away from the tub and black where pulled away, in the pool area handicap equipment was being swung on by young child’s and kids in the hot tub spitting sunflower seeds in the hot tub water. At 130am whoever was in room above us was extremely loud. Thus us when we tried to use phone to call front desk and we had to call on our cell to front desk. The people above us were like this for at least 45 min. I typically know Cambria is upscale but this one is in a rough area of the state and unfortunately it shows.

I usually don't write reviews, but this one needs to be seen! Our room was pretty much disgusting! Bottom of fridge was terrible, sticky and hadn't been cleaned in forever! There was candy and a granola bar still on the floor and hadn't been vacuumed! You had to check pool towels out at front desk, they didn't have enough I was told, then you had to check them back in! Very inconvenient!

Service was great

Chrck in was great and all staff were amazing, only real issues were that the people above us were either having a party or just wanting to try and break through the ceiling both nights we stayed until 1am. It was absolutely horrible. We spoke with the front desk both nights, first night around 1145 nothing changed and second night around 1230. Second night the gentlemen at the front desk said he had other complaints as well and he would go speak to them but it still continued. Also our tub would not drain and would fill up rather quickly after a 5 min shower. Other than that it is a very nice hotel with great beds and bathrooms. The pool and hot tub were amazing and our kiddos loved it! That was the main reason for our stay was the pool because we were traveling to RC for our sons 12th bday. If they could get a few things changed up and uphild the "quiet hours" I would definitely change this to a 5 star review.
