Stayed at the Idea for two nights, and I’d recommend having a better idea than booking this place.
The air conditioning didn’t work, so the room proudly sat at a tropical 26°C the entire stay. We reported it to reception, but apparently the solution was to let us slowly marinate.
The room itself wasn’t much better—stained carpets and , mould in the shower.
Breakfast was an experience. The bread was so stale it could probably qualify as a historical artifact, and the coffee tasted like someone waved a coffee bean over a cup of hot water that had been filtered through a wet cardboard box.
The only real highlight? The hotel is right next to McDonald’s, where we found an actual breakfast and coffee that tasted like coffee. Never thought I’d be writing a glowing review of McDonald’s, but here we are.
