Very Poor Experience at The Fern Residency Rajkot, Series by Marriott I had a terrible booking experience at The Fern Residency Rajkot, Series by Marriott, and I do not recommend booking this hotel. The rooms were not clean on arrival. There was a fault with the key card reader, and the staff were unable to fix it. The reception was not helpful at all when we asked to change rooms — they simply said they could not do anything. Overall service was far below expectations. The only positive aspect of the stay was the restaurant, which I can recommend — the food and service there were good. But as for the hotel stay itself, I definitely do not recommend it.

Romm had window but not able to see threw asked team however team does not know about it. Strange. Breakfast have nice options.

It’s extremely bad experience after tiring long journey. Only bath towels available in bathroom no hand towels, face towels or even bath mate was not there. Check in / check out process was also tiring. Booked from Expedia with different amount and actual bill was ₹450 extra. I’ve asked for the reason and they made me sit more 10 minutes to figure it out. Finally after pointing the issue they said sorry it was glitch. What if someone didn’t calculate the amount with the calculator literally like me. I would highly not recommend this place to anybody

Not worth for cost

We booked the Hazel Suite which accommodates 4 guests (2 adults and 2 children), and had confirmed this at the time of booking (3 months prior to check-in). We again confirmed this via email & phone call 2 weeks prior to check-in and again when we were at Mumbai Airport (4hrs prior to check-in), that we would be arriving and make sure the room is ready with 4 beds. Surprisingly, the room was not ready and the staff asked us if we wanted extra beds - this took an hour to sort out! The hotel does not offer currency exchange service, but one of the staff members (Ravi) tried to con us by offering us a very low rate, which we rejected - he wanted a bribe. On day 2, the room was nicely cleaned but housekeeping forgot to put 4 towels (they only left 2), and had not provided a new toilet roll. My wife went to Reception who then sent 1 hand towel only. Ravi denied being asked for a toilet roll and 2 extra hand towels, even though my wife asked! He wanted a tip for us bothering him - very unprofessional! Staff members Amit in Concierge and Amit in Housekeeping were brilliant! Genuine guys wanting to help out!

The Fern is a lovely property in a dismal location, however we were only visiting for one night as we had a flight to catch the next morning. Room size was generous, nice amenities and in site restaurant was of a good standard. Would visit again if it wasn't for the location. Maybe better in the daytime, but didn't really see the location during the day.

A very nice clean hotel with excellent vegetarian food. Staff also very helpful and will go beyond the norm to help. I will book my stay here again

Excellent Service staff

Not recommended. No hot water for shower. Wrinkles on bedding so definitely not pressed. Overpriced for sure.

It was little outside centre of Rajkot but very good value for money. Staff were good and friendly.

Bathrooms are terrible

Broken sink. Shower water very very luke warm. Bed sheets most likely not washed based on the feel and look. We used our own bedsheets and towels. Breakfast and dinner buffet good quality.

I was travelling with two friends and we booked two separate rooms with dinner and breakfast. Both rooms were very clean and very comfortable. The buffet dinner and breakfast both had plenty of variety and were delicious. Everything was excellent and a much higher standard than I was expecting. It is also located not too far away from Rajkot Airport which was very convenient for us.
