Rating & Review Keseluruhan Hampton Inn and Suites Baton Rouge Downtown

Parking was not included. We had a holding fee that was not included in the initial payment, that i now have to wait 5 days for.

The stay was pleasant but for a hotel the size of this one, I felt needed more than two (2) handicapped complimentary parking spaces. The two spaces were convenient to the entrance but not adequate for the size of the hotel. Two days we had no maid services. The breakfasts were really good during our stay.

I had to pay extra for parking which wasn’t explained. No ice machine worked. Workout room closed. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful which was a plus.

There was a lot of remodeling going on and the amenities described were not available

They didn't tell us they were remodeling when we booked Just an overall bad experience

It was a great stay, however to charge 50 dollars to park was a bit much. Not sure if I would stay again.

Room was really large and it was a quiet stay. Water temperature was less than ideal, not hot enough to even steam up a mirror, otherwise a good stay. Breakfast staff was exceptionally friendly & very nice!!

Nice hotel. Enjoyed the balcony. The room was nice and the bed was comfortable. The shower water didnt get hot enough. But overall I would recommend this hotel.

Bathroom was moldy and had hair on the floor. Hallway carpet was so stained and dirty. Floor in room was sticky. The staff were extremely nice. It was ok for just a quick night stay but expected it to be better based off previous reviews.

The staff was amazing, everyone was friendly and very helpful. It was graduation weekend for LSU so it was very busy. If I were rating just the staff, it would easily be 5 stars. But there were a few things that I noticed, like the mold around the shower curtain

The drain in the sink wasn’t working the bathroom could have been better cleaned

The whole staff was great and very helpful! The breakfast staff was especially nice! The rooms were great, there was construction on the floor below us (remodeling some rooms) but we never heard a thing. An easy walk to the river, to the convention center and too a lot of restaurants and coffee shops.

Showed up for family trip nothing on website says underconstruction but sign at front counter when ya walk in room was fully finished from looks of the update going on faucet handles in bathroom fell off carpet in entry an to balcony looks like it’s ready to be pulled up tv worked but no sound at all construction going on in hotel heard hammering an knocking sound from 12 to 5 had kids with us so there was no nap time that day unfortunately staff was great couldn’t ask for better but hotel I felt like wasn’t ready or least should have price cut on room rentals

Bathroom sink would not drain has stains on couch shower knoob was loss and coming apart staff was amazing but felt like hotel was in the middle of remodel and should not have been taking reservations don’t fill like I should have paid as much

It was a mid hotel. Nothing special. The bathtub was either really old or wasn’t cleaned. It was close to where we needed to be
