Staff are great

Seems like a historical property with a bar and restaurant downstairs. The room we had was one with high ceilings, such as you might expect in an older Victorian building. Bathroom was roomy and nicely designed. No elevator, so you had to climb stairs. The restaurant and bar downstairs served very good food and was always busy. The property is right on a tram line, so it's easy to get downtown by hopping on the tram.

Out of all the hotel options in the city, I chose Naughton’s because of their clean and warm aesthetic. My stay here was nothing short of spectacular. The staff were friendly and helpful, the room and public areas were clean and well-kept. The pub downstairs has delicious food and the live music was a very nice touch. I would highly recommend a stay at Naughton’s and I will certainly be back next time I’m in Melbourne.

Close to Royal Melbourne Hospital. Staff were great room was very clean.

We enjoyed our stay at Naughtons. All staff were pleasant and helpful. The pub downstairs is delightful. With the new Metro train tunnel a short walk away, the city was incredibly accessible. I would recommend Naughtons highly.

With what feels like a very recent renovation, the room was compact but so eloquently furnished. Comfortable bed. Cool art.

Clean and quiet accommodation with walkable distance from public transport. It was the perfect stay for my business trip.

Old world charm

Lovely old hotel away from the busy areas but within such easy reach by tram or by walking. Staff are always friendly and obliging and are a credit to the management. If visiting Melbourne Uni or one of the medical facilities or the AO it is an excellent choice.

this is a very simple hotel which is very comfortable very central but don't expect the whole lot of extras or unnecessary staff. You get a very comfortable stay at a place which is so convenient.

Room was clean and comfortable, and good value. There is a bit of noise generated from the Pub/Restaurant, and the busy street location. However, the same street provides great transport access, and the restaurant is fabulous. I ate there twice over 3 nights. Food and service was terrific. All staff encountered were very friendly. I'd certainly stay again.

Liked location for access to hospital and thought food offering was very good Room we had was loud. No hair dryer or ironing board in room........ but thre was a central supply, just had to track them down

Great stay. Modern, clean and comfortable. Tram stop right outside and easy access to Melbourne CBD. Staff very helpful.
