Great fit for my trip

Decent property, but not worth the price I paid. The staff was accessible, professional, and efficient. I was impressed with the free, light dinner reception they had - I’ve never seen that at an HS property before! While the quality was not special, it was laid out thoughtfully and was a nice thing to do for guests. The property itself was compact. I wouldn’t recommend room 116 on the 1st floor - the basketball court runs outside both windows, which ‘closes’ at 9pm, but the lights stay on. People bouncing basketballs 8 ft from your pillow at 10:37pm isn’t that relaxing, but it quieted down shortly after. The room itself was a little musty, but very clean (except for the dirty pool towel left hanging in the bathroom when we arrived). For a room that slept six, there were only three towels and no pillows/sheets/blankets for the pullout. But again, the entire staff was courteous, friendly and responsive. The indoor pool was extremely small - not a pleasant atmosphere and four people was a crowd in a pool of that size. The breakfast in the morning was terrific - really plentiful with a good variety. The croissants (Sam’s Club?) were delicious. The tables were clean - to the point that they were soaking wet, as were most surfaces…so we went outside with the smokers and the bees. Location was excellent, very convenient with a Dunkin in the parking lot and right up the road from a Longhorn with great takeout.

The manager swapped me out for 2 queen beds, from a king which I had reserved, without asking. The lady checking me in said there was nothing she could do about it and placed the blame on management. The rooms need. updating. The shower in my room broke, the water had to be turned off to the room and since they were sold out we had to leave the hotel and find some were else to stay at 11PM. Just a bad experience.

Nice, clean hotel. Shopping area nearby for essentials. Pleasant staff.

Great room, great price. Pool and gym outstanding. Outdoor patio and fireplace really nice. Best morning free breakfast I have seen in a long time.

Stay was great with staff friendliness's and clean room

I was excited to stay at this location because of the great reviews, free breakfast, and perfect location to our event. Sadly, the excitement ended as soon as we entered our room. We check in a little late because our flight was delayed (approx 10pm). As soon as we opened the sofa bed we noticed what appeared to be dog tears shoved in between the sofa. We decided not to use the sofa bed (due to the treats) and all shared the beds. We then started noticing dog hair in the bed between the sheets and pillows. There was so much dog hair throughout the whole room that 2 of our guests began sneezing a lot and getting allergies. We then found blood drops throughout the carpet. I went to the front desk and notified them or the situation but they advised they were sold out of the night and the best they could do is provide me with clean sheets that I could change myself. The following day I went back to the front desk and tried to get a different room but was advised that there were no rooms that could accommodate my family (there were 5 of us) since they were all single bed rooms. I asked to speak to a manager but was informed there was none on site at the moment. The front desk staff was very friendly and apologetic and I understand the situation was out of their hands but it was frustrating thto have to stay in a room that was just dirty. On my last day, I was informed some sort of credit would be granted but i was very disappointed that no solution was available during my stay.
