Rating & Review Keseluruhan Bahia Principe Luxury Bouganville - Adults Only - All Inclusive

What I liked was the place kept surprising us with things to do. We played pool, ping pong, swam, paddle boarded, kayaked, participated in the party pool festivities, relaxed in the heated non party pool, shopped and enjoyed the entertainment each night. I love how they brought us and others to dance along. Everyone who worked there was so nice and helpful. The service at each restaurant was superb. I highly recommend.

Fantastic staff, especially the entertainment crew (Jay-Z!!! Roberto from Africa!!!) A-ma-zing food! Highly recommended, will likely make it an annual trip!!

The beach area is quite poor, not something you would expect in the Caribe. The pools areas were nice, but at 9 am almost 80% of the sun bed were taken while there were very few people there, the stuff should control that customer go to the pool place the towel in the sunbed and come back after a couple of hours.

I loved everything about this hotel. The staff are amazing and welcoming. The rooms are beautiful the food is great everything I've had to eat has been like a non stop party for my taste buds delicious. I hate that the hotel is far from the main city but I will still come back. The only thing that I would say that was a little disappointing is I arrived on my birthday but the hotel didn't recognize me on my special day. But spoke to other guest who the hotel did acknowledge by putting a Happy Birthday sash on there door with a bottle of wine in there room along with chocolates. It would have been nice to see this type of welcoming when I walked in my room on my birthday. But other than that I love this hotel had a great experience!

The resort was clean and accommodating. The pools were outstanding and the bar staff were great. Food was awesome! Not your typical resort food.

My girlfriends & I had a wonderful stay at Bahia Principe. This resort is beautiful, clean rooms, wonderful staff all around, & served delicious food. 10/10 would HIGHLY RECOMMEND. We will be back.

The hotel is clean. Staff is very friendly, great food. Great place with areas to relax and also options for entertainment. I wasn't very pleased with the shower in the room. The water pressure is weak. Overall we had a great experience.

GOOD I like that it is 2 different resorts both behind a gated entrance. You can use either property at any time as a guest with your wrist ban. Everything is included which is fabulous and tipping is not a concern. Views are very pretty and there is activity every night, but seats fill up quick. BAD. Bouganville has no elevator so if your room is not on the first floor, you will be climbing and walking a lot. The mattresses feel like a thin mattress on top of plywood. Very uncomfortable. Restaurants are included with the all inclusive but you can not book reservations when you arrive to the property so unless you book months in advance restaurants are just to look and not to use. Waist of space. Air condition is only in the room and buffet, not in the halls, reception, bars. Ice is only available if you order it, there are no ice machines. Service is good but it's great if you speak Spanish. No Spanish you may have a hard time.

The Bahia Principe Luxury Bouganville just seemed a little out dated and out of the way. We flew in to Punta Cana and it was over an hour an a half ride one way. We wanted direct flights and the La Roma airport was limited. The excursions that we also booked at the hotel had long bus rides which really made for long days. Our room had some issues but was clean and somewhat comfortable. Our bathroom had sewer smells coming from the shower drain. The shower head had corrosion as well as the soap dish. Still we managed to make the most of it. The hotel is set in a little cove so the ocean water was not very clear and we saw no water activities that the hotel provided. The food was okay with the buffet being average. I will say the Asian restaurant was great with a lot of variety. The Italian restaurant was the second best but really hard to get reservations. We walked in one night and the they were able to get us a table and the food was very tasty. I'm sorry but the names of the different restaurants escape me right now but overall they were okay. The pools were nice but of course very busy because very few people were at the beach. We have stayed all over the Caribbean so I think I try to give honest reviews. I am sorry to say that we will not consider going back to the Bouganville resort. When we travel, we want more than average.

Beach was clean and easy to get to. Food was outstanding.

The service with waiters, bartenders, chefs were excellent . The only concern were with the staff of customer service at lobby. We was trying to meek some reservation in certain rest with no results from them. They just tell us to check later and later and later with no positive results and no intention to help us. But we went to the rest we were looking for dinner and result was positive we had dinner on all of them with out the help of customer service at the lobby. Their was no interest of helping customers. In the other side a very good experience. Thanks

My mom and i went to this resort for a weekend and had the best time! It was such a good trip, the resort was very clean, the staff were so nice and plenty of food to pick from. We are planning to return!!

Properties was kept clean and there was many dining options. Very easily walkable very nice adult quiet pool.

The place is a paradise. Everyone needs to check it out.
