The room didn’t have a microwave which was disappointing

No microwave no fan

I was able to have a hot shower, when my daughter went to have a shower, the water was cold. The rubber foot mat that is provided for people to use in the shower was stuck against the wall where the clean hand towel was leaning against it. This absolutely repulsed me.

How it was close enough to shops and harbour

For the price you can get much nicer rooms in the area. The room was old and the cupboard that has the spare pillows was full of dead ants. Food from the hotel was good and the lady at reception was nice. Only stayed here as the the ad said it had a gym well it didn’t. It had a couple of old broken down machines. Will give it a miss next time.

The Econo lodge is convenient and comfortable enough place to stay for a work trip. The Mac hotel which is pet of the venue has great pub meals I have stayed here for many years

Fitted the purpose of what we needed a single room with 2 beds

There was no hot water and the shower was leaking, the basin tap was loose. I tried to call in the morning about no hot water for a shower but nobody answered the phone. I have called since my return home to discuss the issues and was promised a callback. No callback so far. I won’t be staying there again and I have told my colleagues not to book here either.

For a last minute choice, was pleasantly surprised, and would consider staying again

it was fine to sleep and very quiet. Didn't go to breakfast as I was still sleeping comfortably. Staff very friendly nice and clean

It is old and you can hear the shower next door and it's noisy in the mornings. However good old fashioned hospitality, clean and affordable.
