The hotel is simple but nice. We stayed in the junior suite which was spacious and clean. The staff was cordial. We would definitely stay there again.

Hotel in a very convenient location. On this occasion as the Queen rooms were not available we booked a junior suite which we thought would be one of the rooms with a kitchenette area however it was a rather strange room with a lounge area and a bath in the bathroom. There was supposed to be a coffee machine according to the booking but there wasn’t one - they provided one. Unfortunately the room was on the seventh floor and the WiFi does not work well on the area of that floor. In general the room and hotel were fine. AC TV etc worked well.

My girlfriend and I had a great 3-day stat at the Principe hotel in Feb 2026 for a phenomenal price. The hotel was very nice, quite and clean with large rooms. We actually got moved right away to a far larger room (for no charge) because the A/C in our first room was not working properly. The staff could not have been nicer. The location of the property in the nice and safe Congrejo neighborhood was great, with plenty of good restaurants steps away. In truth, the Principe was one of the best stays/deal I have ever had in my travels.

Plain Jane room, not clean

It’s my first time in Panama, I had fun. I have a couple of suggestions and feedbacks. Upon arriving to my hotel, the two young ladies at the reception desk were amazing and even if I didn’t wanted to stay there, their radiant energy and smile would make me consider otherwise. The bell men were also Nice to us, one in particular Tall and brown (shoutout to you my good sir) The room was good for my liking, however the bathroom toilet doesn’t flush so strongly, hot water was present in the shower and that was great. It would be nice if all rooms had a refrigerator or a microwave. However, I wasn’t phased too much due to the 24/7 supermarket next door, Great location. Internet, the WiFi from the room was not the best we had to be going in the lobby to use it, one of the young lady said she’d set up a router for faster speed, not sure if it was done but the gesture was kind. Having to pay $20 for a visitor in a hotel that is NOT all inclusive was pretty NEW for me, but hey? We did it anyway. Housekeeper’s were very friendly!! Very. They would come daily to clean and that was amazing. The pool area was relaxing. I think it closed off early and the pool chairs needed some cleaning.

They don’t let you check in even a minute before 3 o’clock. Their lobby looks like a flop house with people waiting to get into their rooms. I guess they think we don’t realize rooms get cleaned all morning not just at 3 o’clock. No Internet in the lobby. We finally get our room and the Internet is so bad it’s unusable. Call a half a dozen times and they just keep lying when they know their Internet is terrible. The next day I said if you can’t offer better Internet, then I’m leaving. Then they put me in another room that had better Internet. Told me to pack up the room is ready. I pack up and go down and they’re just starting to clean it and I have to stand in the hallway for a half an hour. I asked to speak to the manager nine times with an excuse every time. The staff will not let you speak to the manager to complain about the service. The lady the front desk should not be working with public right from the second we walked in. she was miserable and unruly. I’ve stayed here twice before and it’s never been a problem, I will never go back.
