Accueil très agréable - chambre impeccable - un peu vieillot mais correct - petit déjeuner copieux. Je recommande.

We stayed in a sea view studio. We got held up and didn't check in until after dark (and had to leave early in the morning) so sadly didn't see the view, but I could just make out that it was over the top of the fortification wall which is normal for Intra Muros. Check in was at a sister hotel the Chateaubriand as there were not many guests and reception was closed but was only 50m away so not a problem. The studio is very cleverly designed so that there is a thin partitioned bit behind the bed with a breakfast bar and stools (good to work from if needed) and a small kitchen. Very happy and hope to stay there again. What would make it even better would be to add an armchair so that 2 people can sit down (there is room in the niche between the window and kitchen area), bedside tables (with storage) and a corkscrew and teatowel. But would happily stay there for a few days as very convenient.

It’s fine for one night and in a good location but the rooms are very worn out and dirty. Carpets are disgusting, furniture has tears and rips, room was not fully cleaned since the last occupant.

We had city view. Reception welcoming. Comfortable room and bed. Breakfast was held on 1st floor , large room brightly decorated, tablecloths, all beautifully laid out. Large selection of hot and cold breakfast food. Would most definitely stay there again.

Accueil sympathique mais hotel qui mérite d'être rénové dès l'entrée. Odeur désagréable dans les parties communes. Chambre relativement confortable néanmoins déçu de voir que le volet extérieur était cassé et grosse désillusion la nuit puisque une gouttiere passe dans la chambre au niveau de la tête avec bruit assourdissant nous ayant réveillé a 5h du matin. S'en est suivi l'essorage des machines à laver. Pour une nuit supérieure à 100€ nous ne reviendrons pas.

Stains all over the floor. Didn’t feel clean at all, towels and bedding felt old. We requested a shower room and were given and bath, front of house very kindly let us swap rooms but we paid for a superior room and it felt anything but superior. Positive is good parking and central location

Pub next door a bit noisy

Nice hotel, reception staff very helpful eg in booking restaurants, good breakfasts, room had good sea view as advertised. Only problem was that the in-room safe did not work and as far as we know noone did anything about this when we reported this.

The room and hotel were lovely and you can see the changes they are making to improve the facilities. The room was tidy and spacious and the team when above and beyond to help! Would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting St Malo

Lovely hotel and very well located in the old city. Definitely recommend.

We did not realize this hotel is inside the wall of St Malo old village. Parking is hard to find, driving is at your own risk, and the hotel is next to a bar that was noisy until closing well after midnight. No AC so the window was open to the noise. We finally closed the window and that shut out the noise. We did like the hotel and would stay again.
