This hotel was definitely a hotel that you should only stay at if you are passing through, don’t drive here as a destination. It is very expensive and honestly feels a little bit like a motel. I will say the restaurant is REALLY good. If it wasn’t for the restaurant the hotel would have been a total waste of time. Amazing location and views. But for the price, it really doesn’t feel as nice as it should.

After a long day driving, this hotel feels like heaven. They have a nice restaurant which made us feel great for a nice diner! very big rooms comparing to other hotels we stayed in the same trip. The view is amazing. Very nice! wanted to stay more days but we needed to keep going! highly recommend it.

Friendly staff. Just off main ringroad but quiet. Food was very good.

This hotel is a road motel for the price of a 5 star hotel. The rooms are small and simple, the bathroom is very low quality, including the grime included the plastic shower. Do not recommend. Breakfast was also por quality.

Staff was incredible, as is in every fosshotel we've ever stayed at. Great location to skaftafell and many other attractions near systrafoss. Stunning views from room. Great breakfast and dinner. I would highly recommend the arctic char and risotto. 100% staying here again

Really nice hotel, not so many amenities, but staff was super friendly, upgrade the room for us without asking, spacey room, comfortable bed and nice view on our patio.

Front desk noted free breakfast at check in. The next morning they told us it wasn’t, I went to the same front desk person who then lied and told us she didn’t tell us it was free and then the restaurant insisted and they charged me. After paying, my debit card dinged me and showed it was paid and they insisted it wasn’t even though they could see it on my phone and on my debit card record that it was already pending transacted and then insisted I pay AGAIN. $86 CDN buffet breakfast for two x2 at this point and I’m not sure what will happen but even though I showed them my debit card info on my phone I’m likely to have fight them until the end of time. The good news is I cancelled all my Foss hotel bookings for the rest of the trip and that will cost them $3000. Bad manners, rudeness and bold lies always costs beyond what the initial gain is.

The rooms were spacious. Weather permitting, having the deck and view off the room is a plus! The restaurant had limited but good options. The breakfast buffet could use a little more considering the cost, but it is Iceland so it's expensive everywhere. The location was great for day trip exploring.

Zimmer, sauber aber wenn man genauer hinsah, hatte es im Bett. Noch Haare… in der Dusche auch. Essen sehr gut und Getränke auch. Personal super nett.

Un magnifique séjour. Les chambres sont confortables. L’hôtel edt situé à environ 30 min du parc national et d’un épicerie. Le déjeuner est vraiment très complet Je recommande sans aucune hésitation
