We arrived late and checked in. Staff were friendly. The room was very nice, especially for the price. We had a drink and a bite to eat in the bar, which was busy and a lovely atmosphere. Would stay again.

Clean room food excellent

This was a great place to stay. The room was very clean and the female receptionist was incredibly helpful and welcoming. A credit to the place. Only thing that stopped it from being 5 stars was lack of info at breakfast. We ordered and only became aware that there was bread, juice and other items available when we saw the waitress carry them away at the end of breakfast. It wasn’t visible from where we sat so a heads up would’ve been helpful. Still would recommend.

The room is a nice size, clean, but very very dated, the shower was in the bath and not very good. The hotel itself is located not far from Stansted airport and it's the only reason I would consider booking again. The parking at the hotel is very poor and pretty much a free for all but the car park next door is free between 6pm to 8am with proper painted bays where people park rather than just abandon their cars. All in all it was an ok choice of a place to stay for an early flight but I doubt we would book again

Excellent hotel. The reason for giving 4 /5 stars was that they didn't serve food at 8pm when we arrived... They decided to stop serving sure to having few guests. It wasn't a major problem as there are lots of places nearby.

Staff were really friendly checking in and the room was clean, quiet and comfortable for relaxing. Even had a rubber duck for the shower!

Staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and the decor good and interesting pictures. The food in the restaurant was excellent. The only negative from my husband was that there wasn't a shaver socket in the bathroom.

Stayed one night when flying from Stansted. Great hotel. Easy free parking. Great staff. Excellent breakfast.

The breakfast was cooked to order, plate and food was lovely and hot and very tasty.. The rooms were very clean and we stayed a couple of nights so had our water - towels - milk refills done after the first night..the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. We had our family get together on the Sunday after Christmas so we pre ordered our meals for our large family & table and everything we ordered was spot on!! Could not fault this hotel and staff. We will now be returning a few more times during the year..

Pub, room and staff were excellent. Unfortunately our room was a lodge away from the pub and was extremely noisy late into the night/morning as people left.

Easy booking on the website. Warm welcome, very friendly staff, enjoyed the substantial breakfast and a great dinner with a lovely meal and a drink at the pub. We‘ll come again, when in the UK 🇬🇧 Greatings from Germany, Auf Wiedersehen 👋
