Rating & Review Keseluruhan Long Beach Hotel

When getting to the hotel, the lobby was a little warm and not comfortable. Check-in went pretty smoothly. When we got to the elevator, it was the size of a cupboard and could fit maybe four or five people at the most. It was also very slow and we needed to wait a couple of minutes for the elevator to come down to the floor. The room was extremely small. For the price I expected more. There were no side tables by the bed so we could not put our phones or even our water down. So we could not put our phones or even a bottle of water next to us. We had to keep our phones on the floor and our water on the floor. The bathroom only had a sink and there was nowhere to put any toiletries. The air conditioner blew the curtains during the night so at around 5:30 AM light came in from outside and woke us up. The rooms were freshly painted and the bed was comfortable, but it is not a place that I would stay again.

The beds were very uncomfortable, room was dirty with dried paint on the floors. Door closed but wasn’t aligned properly so light came in the room. No do not disturb sign and housekeeping came in but didn’t even seem to really clean. Only made one bed the first day and took towels but didn’t leave new ones. Second day both beds were made and towels replaced. Nothing like the pictures. Bed was made of plywood. No fridge in the room or any ice in the hotel as far as I could tell. Very expensive for terrible conditions.

Low water pressure , toilet didn’t flush regularly. Noisy hallways and rooms next door- like it would seem they were in the room with you. Ample space in the room itself. Bed was comfortable. Pillows were good.

Very nice hotel and friendly staff. Close to the beach.

Conveniently located. Restaurant/bar on site. 24 hour surf shop in the lobby. Well decorated junior suite room.

Loved how close we were to the beach. It was a perfect spot to stay since most of our time was spent on the beach. Staff was extremely friendly and the free coffee in the morning was good. Wish they did breakfast too since its a little hard finding breakfast in the area.

Old, the room very ugly. The tiny bed, bathroom terrible. The shower elements so old, the shampoo had rust. Expensive for that kind of hotel. Air conditioning sounds very harsh, smell of marijuana in the hallways, you can hear the noise from the other rooms. Hugo's attention is the only thing we liked.

Not the staffs fault but a water pipe broke so there was no water from about 10am on the day i checked in. Checked in at 4pm and still no water until 5 then no hot water for the entirety of my stay. It’s a very old building.

My second stay and it was better then the first. I will be back.

Outdated, extremely stained/dirty carpet in hallways. Cramped out dated bathroom with zero water pressue. TV would not function, bed was not comfortable. Sheets were not clean. However extremely friendly staff, easy check in, and neat/clean lobby.

Carpeting in all the hall ways was so extremely dirty! Holes in ceilings, no phone service, age of building showing. No where I bathroom to put your toiletries, no bedside table, closet too narrow for hangers to fit, unable to close closet door. Safe in closet told does not work. Just way too many things are negative regarding hotel. Staff pleasant but not always available. Appears to be a long stay place for low income individuals . Ad mis leading as we believed it to back up to beach. Poster for taxi service states anywhere on Long Island $5, not clear it’s $5 per person, others stated it was misleading for them also. My husband stated after our stay he felt he was camping out, which we never have done. Extremely disappointed! Would not have taken pictures of hotel as I would have been embarrassed to share them with friends/family!

We had cockroaches in our rooms. Holes in the walls. No bedside tables. The rooms were so humid. A guest of the hotel vomited on the front steps of the hotel right as we entered. No hangers. Bathrooms were very small. There was paint on the floors. The list goes on

We like staying at the Long Beach Hotel because it's so close to the beach. However, it is pretty expensive for what it is. $400 a night gets you a bed and a tv with some towels for the shower.

TERRIBLE. The room provided was NOT at all what was advertised. Very sketchy and unsanitary. Checked out after 10 minutes of being there.
