Lovely

We stayed in Ednam on a stopover for one night. The room was good and clean. We had a meal in the bar and this was good but could have done with a bigger menu. The staff were excellent and we would stay again

The hotel was lovely, huge bathroom. Way too quiet for us though. Breakfast was over cooked, eggs on my wife’s eggs benedict were nearly hard boiled, bacon was tough. Very steep stairs down to breakfast room. The bar was closed most of the day, with a bell for service. We tried it but no one came. The staff were lovely, but just not enough of them, and same ones we’re doing everything. With the size of the hotel, this was an impossible task. We ended up spending most of ur time at the hotel opposite.

Absolutely wonderful hotel, staff super friendly and helpful and the overall setting was just beautiful. The food was incredible 😄 will stay again!

Lovely old building in great location. Clean and well presented. Lovely breakfast. Didn’t have dinner. Will definitely stay again.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Hotel, although dated, was lovely and rooms (riverview) were lovely. Couldn’t fault anything and we will definitely be back.

The hotel has old fashioned charm Its not dirty but is shabby ! Staff very good and food not bad either

Staff lovely & very welcoming. Hotel comfortably warm throughout. Bedroom freshly decorated & spacious. Generally, hotel a bit tired looking. Cost of £20 per dog (in one room) seems bit steep.

Yes, the room was very tidy, warm and comfortable, the staff were great, parking was easy, we never had breakfast we normally just have coffee first thing, dinner in the small dining room was good with good service, we have been there before, overall, everything on the doorstep, nice garden area and nice views of river and surroundings. Yes we will be back.

Staff let it down. Mostly young staff that need more training in customer experience improvement.

Overall very nice hotel with real fires burning

Spectacular location and really friendly and helpful staff. Made to feel very welcome. Food was very good and the bar and restaurant were very nice areas. Beutiful open fire in the lobby. The room was run down though. Stained carpets and the bath didnt drain.
