A traditional Japanese experience. Hot tub on balcony was amazing. Note that the only option for a shower is also outside on the private balcony. Food was very good and room was large and comfortable for 2 of us.

Room was clean. Private onsen was amazing. Traditional Japanese Sukiyaki Dinner(+all you can drink) and traditional breakfast was good. Two bus stops right out in front of the property to get back to central Hakone was extremely convenient. Close to the Glass Museum, but not a ton of other things around. Not a ton of entertainment options on the tv or in room. Room can be pricey(400+ CAD), but with a private onsen, two meals included and quite a large space with a Zen Garden, it is somewhat fairly priced.

Loved the private "outdoor" bath. ♨️Room was spacious meals and staff were great.

The facility is located on one of the main bus route and can be accessed via T bus from Hakone Yumoto main station. Hotel is overall very poorly maintained with strong moldy smell. We arrive at 3pm for check in and assigned to the room right next to main road(ambulance sound every few hour) and sewage which gives very strong smell during our stay. We request to change room but they say fully booked and no room to change. The room itself only charm point is the open air hot spring. Other than that is very old and not well maintained. It has a moldy smell and again the smell of sewage too strong even inside of the room. Our stay included dinner and breakfast. A lot of local varieties but not very tasty. If you don’t eat meat, you don’t have much choices to fill your stomach. Check out is at 10am which is quite early but I guess that’s normal for old hot spring hotel. Overall I don’t expect this after paying $440 cad dollar. Won’t book again.

毎年箱根でのんびり休養するため、息子と宿泊させて頂いております。 今回も美味しい食事と部屋の温泉でとても良い旅が出来ました。

Vi var desværre ikke så heldige med vejret, så det spiller noget ind. Snebyger og omkring tre grader. Det er et hyggeligt lille sted. Der er meget mørkt træ alle vegne, så når vejret ikke var med en kom det til at virke lidt trist og mørkt. Bruser/bad er udenfor - og det var ikke lige os i den kulde. Man får virkelig prøvet noget japansk mad både morgen og aften, og personalet var meget søde. De kunne dog ikke meget engelsk så selvom menuen stod på engelsk kunne vi ikke altid gennemskue hvad der var hvad. Hotellet er nemt at komme til med bus fra stationen, og er et godt udgangspunkt til ture rundt i området.

The room was superb, comfy and spacious. Private onsen just made it better. Dinner was sumptuous and breakfast too. The hotel staff were polite and helpful.

昨日も利用させて頂きましたが、部屋の露天風呂でゆったりできて、食事も豪華でとても満足して帰ることが出来ました。また利用させて頂きます。

There are many insects in the hot spring in the room. Nice staff and nice food.

This is further out from Hakone than I expected but the hotel is lovely. It’s a little run down and could do with sprucing up a bit but we enjoyed our stay. The staff are very friendly and the food was lovely. Buses run regularly to attractions in the area from just outside the hotel

We had an amazing experience staying here. The room we stayed in was clean and spacious and the private onsen was an added bonus. The shabu shabu dinner was one of the best meals we had on our entire trip and the service from staff was great. Overall I would highly recommend this place for anyone staying in Hakone!

Nice to have a private onsen but cobwebs and mold around it. Didn’t feel clean enough for me to go in. Public onsen, same thing. Moldy walls.

료칸에서 제공되는 개인탕이 있어 훌륭했습니다만, 겨울이라 이용하기에 좀 추웠습니다. 다른 계절이라면 잘 사용가능할 것 같아요. 저녁과 아침으로 제공되는 식사도 모두 양질로 일본의 음식 느낌이 잘 전달돼어 만족했습니다

The onsens were very nice. One of the best ive stayed at.

기대만 컷던 여행인건지! 검색해 찾고찾은 료칸이 너무 별로! 온천탕 이라고 들어간곳은 동네 목욕탕 보다 못하고 지져분! 객실 온천도 너무 별루! 음식은 뭘 먹으라는건지 ! 2/3일 똑같은 음식만 먹은 기분! 다신 안가겠음!
