Unfortunately had very loud neighbours and people who smoked weed. With the air conditioner on, it sucked both cigarette and tobacco smoke into the room. Our room smelled of stale cigarettes. Our bathroom was dirty-stains on the door and walls. The walls appear to be thin because we could hear the baby crying next door and the parent’s arguments -made it difficult to sleep.

The complimentary breakfast was amazing, loved it. The gentleman that signed us in was very helpful with us. The room rhat was first given had foot prints threw the carpet. He immediately gave us another room without a question. Thank you so much

This was my first time back at hotel. It was called the Highwayman Inn, it was a highly clean, kept and well loved placed to stay, with a reasonable rate. I find the prices high, and the quality inn needs a lot of love put into it. The cleanliness was low, their were people drinking open alcohol in bottles and cans while sitting in the hot tub, the sauna in the women’s bathroom is being used as storage, mold on the hot tub windows, missing many ceiling tiles, the sink in the men’s pool bathroom was broken, the hallways don’t smell pleasant at all, but the breakfast lady (blonde hair) was incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to keep breakfast well stocked and flowing.

Great location, Great staff Pool area needs deep cleaning and new ceiling tiles put in, very scary looking Everything is well worn down to the bone. No Fox channels on TV . Nobody watches CNN Exterior is looking shabby. Benjamin paint store is close by.

The walls are paper thin, we could hear everything including barking dogs all night.

The young lady on the front desk was amazing. I would stay there again just because of the treatment...

We had a terrible weather storm happen so it wasn’t the hotels fault but power went out the second day and we couldn’t use the facilities and all power was out. They said they would give us a refund back but I had to let the third party know about what happened. The staff were kind a compassionate about the situation as again is was not their fault. Orillia is still without power.

There was no power the entire time that we were there during the day at night in the morning no heat no breakfast. It was horrible.

it was ok for sleeping there, the shower was ok, the ceiling above the shower-drywall paper was peeling everything looks and smells old, needs to be closed and renovated

Stayed at this hotel as we looked for universities for our daughter. We also chose this location for the hot tub. Unfortunately it was down for maintenance when we there the only nite but other than great place to stay wasy to get to right off the hyw.

Pool area has lots of mold and mildew buildup. Entire property is run down. Should be maintained better. Hot tub wasn't even working properly.

Convenience

Ive stayed at the Quality Inn many many times over the years. Its always been a great experience, but over the last year its REALLY going downhill. Dont get me wrong, the staff at the desk, along with the manger are all EXCEPTIONAL! Especially Josh, he constantly goes well above and beyond for me any time Ive been there. As for the cleanliness and overall condition of the hotel, sadly thats a different story. Once upon a time I could bank on this place being a perfect screne trip away home but sadly I think the hotel may slowly be going under. The pool and hottub ESPECIALLY were gross. Like TONS of floating particulates and what seemed like MUCH more chlorine than previous stays I had. The hottub was so discolored it was absolutely nasty. Dirty clothes were in the changeroom showers when i first checked in at 1pm and still there at 9pm. The first thing I noticed when I entered my room was a starburst candy wrapper (which my wife and I don't eat) under the air conditioner. I later went to the bathroom to use it for the first time of the stay, lifted the seat, and discovered the toilet was COVERED in dry urine from one of the rooms previous guests. We then went out for my wifes birthday dinner and got back and went to the sauna (only the mens one works) and came back to the room around 10pm, which is when I went to turn the tv on and noticed Sperm or Spit all over the top left corner of my TV. How that managed to slip by housekeeping is beyond me. Sad to see the hotel like this

The pool had potential but was super dirty. Hair balls in the pool and in the shower. Questionable brown stuff on the pool deck. Rusy tables and chairs leaving marks on the floor. Dirty dirty dirty! Never seen this in my life. Rough shape in decor overall.

Lots of things were broken down. Hot tub closed, bumper cars broken, bowling broken, many arcade games broken.

It had many amenities. The staff were friendly; breakfast was pretty decent. It is a pet-friendly place, so when we walked into the room, it had an interesting smell. (Air freshener helped.) It was close to everything, and it was very affordable. The gym only had two machines, and the women's steam sauna was closed when we visited. The hot tub was working on and off. Arcade had fun games, but some of the games weren't working. Overall, we had a great time.
