Rating & Review Keseluruhan Smart Suites, Ascend Hotel Collection

Our suite was very clean and the bed really comfortable. Hotel was quiet and we were grateful to have found a pet-welcome hotel. We stayed for four nights; on the second and third nights, we could smell cigarette smoke coming through a vent into the shower/toilet part, which was rather unpleasant. Had to keep the door shut.

Park and dly out of Manchester. Shuttle is easy to the airport and back. Rooms are clean, only stayed one night

Stench & Bed Bugs!! My parents and I used to stay at the Smart Suites frequently when I was attending school in the Burlington area. Back then the hotel was always clean and comfortable. Unfortunately, things have changed. Upon arrival and parking in the hotel lot I saw an individual by the dumpsters and trees with a roaring fire going in a metal trash can. It was an alarming welcome. Inside, I was instantly aware of a strong odor in the halls and my room. The odor was hard to take. I was grateful I could open the windows to slightly mitigate it. I also bought febreeze at a nearby store to try to further help.Unfortunately I was still very aware of the smell. And it made my partner nauseous. The front desk staff said they were unable to help solve the issue beyond spraying the hallway with their own air freshener. When I returned home i immediately went to clean myself and my belongings and noticed a bed bug while showering. I will never stay at The Smart Suites again and I will warn anyone thinking of staying there not to.

Staff were excellent and helpful. Can be noisy at certain times. Need some renovation done but will book again if I ever in Burlington again

staff were friendly and attentive. room was clean, but counters/corners of the kitchen were a bit dirty. Keurig machine was dirty as well. I'd stay there again for the price.

There was blood on the wall and when asked to replace the breakfast trays after they were emptied it took over 20 minutes.

Overall, our stay was fine for one night. No heat was on when we walked into our room. The insides of the cabinets in the kitchen did not seem finished and therefore unclean. The beds were uncomfortable. The front desk staff was nice and helpful.

Comfortable easy hotel for a couple of days.

This is easily one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at in Vermont! The room was huge—bigger than a studio apartment—with a full kitchen, cable TV, and a great view. My stay was super last minute due to a snowstorm, but the staff was incredibly sweet and accommodating. Only downsides: the hallways and bedroom had a nursing home-like smell, but a little room spray took care of it. Also, the breakfast was pretty bad, even for a continental setup. Other than that, the stay was perfect, and I’d definitely return—just skipping breakfast next time!

Average, perfect for a 1 night pit-stop. You get all the basics, no bells and whistles. Bed is huge, so that’s a plus. Parking is also great.

The rooms need better cleaning and updating. The guests in the hotel are a bit sketchy
