the reception staff were absolutely excellent, really helpful and friendly. Disappointed that the air con did not work on the hottest day! Did ring reception who said they could control remotely but just increased the heat. Milk provided was curdled and like cheese and the shower did not work, thermostat stuck on cold and the adjuster broken.

Didn't see the bar, great valet service bags were in the rooms by the time we checked in, staff were friendly and welcoming and rooms were lovely. Well priced for a booking we made the night before and the option to buy everything in the room + the minibar and complimentary espressos. Great hotel

Very enjoyable stay. Comfortable room. Friendly and relaxed staff. Excellent breakfast. Very good location. Would have liked to stay longer.

Luxurious hotel and decor out of this world. Had a issue with our room as the sink was very low down. Discovered we were in a disability room. Asked reception if we could move rooms and they were happy to do this no problem. Had a lovely stay

Great location, beautiful and ample room. Staff are nice but need more attention ton details such as taxi order verification, Expedia elite member rights, etc.

Great location, high end hotel, excellent service ,but that premium quality does come at a price, but if price is not an issue then this comes very highly recommended. We shall be back next time we come to Manchester

The hotel bar is quite a nice place to be and I love the character of the property and the interior decor.

Check-in was straight forward, friendly helpful young man at reception. Room was clean comfortable and well maintained. Lovely big bed and beautiful bathroom with rainfall shower.

Very small hotel. Didn’t feel at all like a 5 star hotel in any way. Very poor breakfast. Very small beds. I will not stay there again.

Breakfast choice lovely, drinks perfect, steaks amazing, strange decor in hallways but bedroom good size, good spot for shopping.

Great hotel. Awesome room, amazing shower. The rooftop bar is fantastic, especially when the sun is shining! Great team running this place, we had a lovely time.

The staff we met were friendly, helpful and polite. The room was lovely, very clean and spacious. It was quite warm despite turning the air conditioning down as far as possible. We went to celebrate my husband's 40th birthday. Which I made the hotel aware of in the booking and via email and when checking in they weren't aware of and asked the reason for our stay. When we have stayed in other hotels they have acknowledged it and even added little touches in the room which have been gratefully received. This level of service wasn't experienced on our stay which was a shame. That being said we did have a nice stay and enjoyed our time in Manchester.
