Rating & Review Keseluruhan Des Lux Hotel

From the minute we walked in all the staff were very friendly, answered our questions. The hotel is pretty unique with an eclectic collection of decor. Loved it. The lamp lady in our room was an awesome surprise.

Everything was amazing as always. Great customer service. Clean. Great free breakfast. One of the best bars in the Des Moines area.

The hotel is very unique and we loved all the decor. Check in/out was super easy and the front desk staff were super nice. Only complaint is in the bathroom on the bottom towel shelf and on the shower chair, we did have visible “pubic” hair.

Wonderful choice for our time in Des Moines. The hotel feels old school but at the same time modern. The room was spacious and well appointed. The bar was fantastic and service was great. Would definitely seek this hotel out for a future stay.

Had a nice stay, some of the outlets didn’t work and the tv was a little glitchy

Soooo coool!!! Rooms are awesome and clean. Luv the ambient lighting though out the entire building.

Just a one night stay, it was within walking distance via skywalk or streets to event center. We would stay there again if we are back in Des Moines.

Wow! What a gem! Our room was HUGE and beautiful!!! Love that breakfast is included and it was a fantastic selection! Can’t wait to stay here again!

Beautiful hotel, love the style and location

Very unique hotel. Room was very nice. Hotel bar was hopping Saturday night. Awesome bar manager. Breakfast very good with alot of options.

I feel like we got a great value for our stay. Friendly staff at check in, super helpful with questions about parking. Parking was close and convenient. The hotel was beautiful. Very clean. Traffic noise was a bit loud at night, but hard to avoid that with it being downtown. Breakfast in the morning was good, lots of options. Hot tub and sauna were a great plus. If I’m in the area again, I’d stay there again without question.

The lobby was stunning, I felt like I was in a movie. Desk staff greeted us immediately and directed us to parking and later to restaurants. There is not really shopping and dining in the immediate area of the hotel. But we were headed downtown later anyway. Though could could walk for lunch. Loved being able to come back to the bar later in the evening, modern vibe with great service.

Beautiful design and decor with an old world feel of sophistication. Very grand yet warm and inviting. Front desk staff kind and welcoming. Definitely go for a king corner with fireplace! Lovely elegant experience!

The only thing I don't like is the view out my window of a dull courtyard. It should be spiced up with trees and flowers with some kind of decoration.

We had a quick couples trip in downtown Des Moines and this hotel was perfect! It was romantic and swanky, comfortable bed, nice big bathroom. Great service and a fun hotel bar! Overall 10/10!
