Rating & Review Keseluruhan Kilford Arms Hotel

Praktisch gelegenes Hotel mit klassischer, aber gepflegter Einrichtung. Allerdings etwas verwinkelt, ich musste trotz Fahrstuhl nach oben (nicht wenige) Treppen wieder nach unten steigen. Das Frühstück wurde im mittelalterlichen Speisesaal des Restaurants aufgetischt.

Lovely, quirky hotel, built around remains of old church. Very friendly, helpful, staff throughout. Lovely food. Amazing cacophony of rooms, many bars, breakfast room, massive dance halls, night club, and many more.

Spacious room with comfortable bed. Paid for the buffet breakfast, lots of selection. Convenient location, about 5 min walk from bus station and to old town. There was a step inside my room right after opening door. Tripped over it once. Should put yellow masking tape on the carpet step.

Nice, clean hotel with friendly staff right in the middle of town. Easy walk to everything.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay there no complaints whatsoever 🙂

The Kilford Arms was an amazing quaint hotel. Was very central and close to many pubs and walkable sites. Hotel was clean and everyone was helpful and accommodating. Was a very nice touch that parking was behind the hotel and was free

Central and good value. Staff excellent. There was some creaky floorboards, but other than that it was perfect.

Fun decor

Muy bien situado. Personal muy agradable. Si vas con moto, puedes tener suerte y que, como me facilitaron a mí, te dejen meterla en una caseta que tienen para que esté bien guardada. No hablan español, al menos el personal con el que coincidí, así que recomiendo desempolvar el inglés de viaje. A unos 10 minutos del castillo y a unos 15 de la catedral. Debajo tienen pub con comida y bebida, y en la misma avenida hay montones de ellos. Según la habitación que te toque, puedes alucinar con el laberinto, pero a mí no me importó.

A great convenient hotel close to the train station and easy walking distance to the Kilkenny Castle, thw Medieval Mile, and Smithwicks brewery. The included daily breakfasts in the restaurant had a wide variety of choices and were very tasty. There are plenty of pubs nearby for dinners and the other thing that we found very useful was the nearby Brett's laundrette where you can get a good-sized load of clothes washed, dried and folded for 20 Euros.

Great location. Plenty of bars and pubs nearby. Close to all the city's highlights. Free parking. Atmosphere is lively in the hotel bars, with live musicians. However, located on a busy road so it gets quite noisy late at night and early in the morning. No AC so need to keep windows open despite the noise...

Mooie, goed gerenoveerde badkamer. Normale kamer, goed, maar smal tweepersoonsbed. Door houten vloeren wel geluid van andere kamers. Niet geluiddichte deuren. Goed ontbijt, maar geen gezellige ruimte.

This hotel is has the feeling of being in a castle, but is located right along a main street in Kilkenny with easy walking to dining, pubs, and shopping, as well as the Kilkenny Castle. We only stayed one night, but it was a great stopover as we traveled from Dublin to Cork.

If you like a party this is the hotel .lively and a party mood .

A return visit to this hotel for a one night business trip. Nice hotel. Very clean with good staff and in a good location. Third visit here and would stay again. Good value for money.

This was a very busy hotel and location for Hen parties. Music in the evening was loud and carried to the rooms. Staff very friendly, hotel was dated but close to points of interest.
