It is situated where everything is local and within walking distance. The beach is on the doorstep also shops, and dining facilities not to far away. The hotel was a excellent choice and is first class, overall a very enjoyable stay.

Patio door didnt close properly and was opened by the strong winds. Road level room. Shower poor

This hotel is in desperate need of some TLC. No hot water in the basin, towel rail falling off the wall, shower just a dribble. Tatty public areas. To cap it all, we didn't find out there was no breakfast until we went downstairs for it. We weren't told this at check-in, and there was no note in the info folder in the room - just the times for breakfast!

Great location, Easy for bars and restaurants beech life. Friendly and helpful staff. Rooms were clean and well maintained. Would book again.

Good family run hotel, close to the seafront and pier

Although this hotel has limited parking it is a great hotel for a short break. Bar staff and area perfect. Staff very friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and stocked with tea coffee etc and towels. A little dated but good value for money I'd definitely recommend

Lovely place to stay, the staff are nice and friendly

When we arrived at the hotel they said because they had coach canceled they would not be doing food or entertainment so we had to find somewhere to eat and for entertainment the manaoer was very rude to us wben we decided to come home early

Mattress felt it was 30 years old shower was tiny and no power will no stay there again. It felt outdated everywhere

The location of the hotel is excellent. Very short distance to the seafront and Grove park areas of town. The room was nice for an over night stay. Unfortunately the towel rail in the bathroom was hanging out the wall. There was a pillow case missing off the bed. The mattress is definitely on its last legs. We'd stay again but only for one night. The staff we met were all extremely helpful, the hotel has a lovely bar and balcony area with views over the bay towards the pier.

Clean and tidy but very dated room.

Location fantastic. Value for money. Lovely terrace. Lovely lady on reception. Family run business which, where I can, I like to support. This hotel is a sleeping giant. When the economy picks up I would love to think this hotel would be able to reap the rewards by giving it a fresh start. I will go again as it has everything I needed for a couple of nights away.

I opted to pay at the hotel when booked but obviously put at card down to secure a room. However when I checked in, I was told that the money had already been taken from my card. I feel quite angry because the money was taken without my permission. I had cash to pay for the room when I checked in. The room itself was ok, I had booked a twin room for my son and I. The beds were pushed together and the room was quite small, which meant that we couldn’t move them apart that much. Also the bathroom didn’t have a blind in it and the window was opposite a college, so there was absolutely no privacy, we never used the show for that reason.

A lovely very helpful welcoming place, gave me keys to room early as the room was free. Surprised to see such wonderful entertainment on a Saturday Afternoon.

Very close to Beach front and venue car park was good to have too. lovely lady on check in very quick & easy, will definitely stay again.

A dated building but noticeable improvements and investment. Shower broke so had to be hand held but very spacious. The staff in reception was excellent and very helpful. Breakfast was filling and fresh. Had a pint, not the best and the old boy behind the bar bless him tried but could do with a more welcoming approach. Represented good value and would not hesitate recommending or staying again.

After leaving the house at 4:30am I decided at 3pm to book a hotel room as it was going to be a longer day than expected, little did I know it would be even longer and more stressful after booking in at this place. I arrived at 19:15 almost 15 hours after leaving home, just needing a shower, maybe a beer and a bed. I was greeted by a completely closed hotel, no lights, no life, no one answering the phone. All this despite taking payment 4 hours earlier. Avoid.
