Overall good experience

Beautiful meal and service

We stayed here at the end on June so it was cold. Our room had no heating, and no electric blanket on the bed. We had to take the quilt off the other bed to prevent freezing. The hot water is turned off at night. In the morning, magically there is hot water again. I had to boil the kettle to get hot water at night. They came to fix the heating on the second day, but they did not care about the lack of hot water at night. In my dad's room the toilet seat was very wobbly and could not be tightened up. We told them about that on the first morning along with the heating issue, but no one came to fix it while we were out all day, so I had to call again that night. When the guy came, he said the seat was incorrect for that toilet. Dad is late 80s, and not that steady on his feet so that toilet was dangerous. I wonder why whoever cleans the rooms did not do anything about an obviously wobbly toilet seat. The second night we came back from a day out and both of our car spaces were taken up by other cars. We presumed this was by patrons of the hotel as those parks were near an access door to the lounge and bar. Don't waste your money staying at Shoreline Hotel they do not even have the basics despite advertising.

It was good stay need more attention on the shower. .

Walked in for check in, and not only was the process effortless, the lady at the counter was excellent. She made recommendations after I told her my plans, and it made the trip so much better. Parking was wonderful, I parked right infront of my room, the room was perfect..only issue was the hot water seemed to have a personality which resulted in me having a cold shower. Dinner was delicious, waiters were excellent. Next morning I discovered a Banjo's next door, and a supermarket.

The Shoreline Hotel is primarily a restaurant / bar facility with 12 hotels rooms on the back of the building. To get there you have to drive pass the dumpsters and a package liquor store which is attached to the building. The front desk is not really manned but they will find someone that will help you. The hotel room was quiet but a bit run down and we did not walk on the carpets as it looked like they could use a good cleaning. If I were to return to Hobart and Tasmania I would recommend finding accommodation a bit closer to the city and something a little nicer. In two weeks of traveling through Australia this was the only facility that we would have changed.

Good mid range accomodation. Showing its age in quite a few areas with an obvious skirting board in need of urgent attention. Staff were excellent and bar and dining areas well cared for and our “snacking”dining was very good

Lovely spacious room and very comfortable bed. Convenient for public transport and buying groceries.

Awesome stay

Room average. Food was good.

Although a little older the room was clean with all the things we needed for a very comfortable stay. There was a little bit of road noise from the road behind us but it didn’t really bother us.

No hot water for a shower, toilet roll holder falling off the wall, wire sliding door fell off, issues with the electricity. Overall quite poor.

Room was quite small but clean and tidy. The traffic noise was a little worrying but the most annoying thing was the dumpster being empties in the early hours of the morning which was very noisy. Dining options and value were excellent.

Such good value - there is a toaster & microwave as well as kitchen cutlery and crockery. The bed is so comfortable and the towels in the bathroom beautifully soft. Food is great in the cafe.

It’s clean and tidy close to shops if you need anything.

This is a comfortable place to stay for catching that early flight. Rooms have all you need and microwave and toaster. Towels in bathroom are lovely and soft. Would stay here again, especially for the excellent food in the cafe. Great value for money all round.

Advertise as having electric blankets but none supplied

Great venue for a one night stop, with good pub/restaurant on site. Plenty of parking, quiet comfy room, the only negatives were check in wasn't manned and I had to queue behind a big group ordering food in the pub to speak to a member of staff and then had to wait for the duty manager to be called to come book me in, also the toilet roll holder in the bathroom was broken and sitting on the floor. One other suggestion would be to install peep holes in the bedroom doors, for better security for guests.
