Gorgeous area of Hobart, especially with the autumn leaves atm. Pub had live music that finished by 8, good meals and friendly staff. The rooms are renovated and very comfy! The coffee machines in the room a nice bonus!

The recently renovated rooms are 5 star and good value. A big improvement on the old rooms. Bar staff were great. Well done P.o.w

Parking was great, and venue close to some nice eateries. Cold beer on tap was Awsome and staff very helpful !

Great location and nice and quiet. Rooms small but were great for a quick getaway. For at the on site restaurant was delicious. Easy walk to Salamanca and on site free parking was a bonus

Very close to Salamanca markets & constitution dock. We had the “front room” #12 which sleeps 6 with a balcony containing amazing views of the water. Rooms were modern as was the wet areas/shower

Was convenient to have a guest laundry.

Property was fine - a little noisy with music from the hotel coming through to rooms but otherwise good.

Freshly renovated rooms and FANTASTIC location! It's a beautiful short walk down historic Kelly Street to Salamanca Square and Constitution Dock for the arts, dining, bars hub and Salamanca Markets every Saturday morning. A chocolate croissant, scallop pie or lamb and potato pie from the bakery on the corner across the road is a must! Dinner at Ball & Chain (Salamanca) and also Hampton (across the road) was amazing. Apparently, the pub downstairs is also great for a meal although we didn't try it. The room was small but had everything we needed. This hotel is about location rather than spending a lot of time in your room anyway. A little bit of foot traffic conversation noise can be heard at night but nothing that kept us awake.

Clean tidy, rooms recently renovated. The rooms are four and a half’s stars. Would certainly stay here again.

We spent 2 nights at this hotel. The rooms have been renovated and are really comfortable and well appointed. Coffee pod machine is an added bonus. Staff are welcoming and helpful. Free parking and great location to explore Hobart city. We were happy with our meals in the restaurant. Would highly recommend.

Right next to Salamanca, above a great pub with free parking. Rooms are tired and basic but so am I. For the price, parking and convenience its worth it if your intent is just a base to operate out of/lay your head. Its pub accommodation, friendly, good value and does what it says on the box.
