The kitchen/restaurant was closed for alterations on Monday night 6th may 2024. When I book accommodation on Sunday 5th May, I was under the impression that we would be able to have our evening meal at this Hotel Motel. I downloader a menu on the 5th May so we could be aware of want we wanted to order for our dinner. The menu states that the kitchen opening hours are Monday & Tuesday, 5.30pm-8.00pm. The owners must have known they were going to make alterations to the kitchen when we booked on the 5th May. Why didn't they or you let us know? We were committed to stay at the Harrietville Hotel Motel because they cleverly have a no cancellation clause when you book & pay for your accommodation. In view of the distress, discomfort & dissapointment suffered by my wife & myself, I expect a full refund of the $ 152.57 we paid in anticipation of a pleasant stay on our wedding anniversary.
