It is an old grand dame. Do not expect brand new - but boy did it deliver in every way. Beautiful views, maintained trails and gardens, gorgeous pool, insane views! The experience was fantastic.

Incredible atmosphere and staff, having a hotel on the waterfall is nothing short of beautiful. Only negative about the hotel is its accessibility. If you like to go out past 5pm, your return options are very limited unless you are driving. The hotel does provide some free transportation, which was great from getting to/from the train stop. No AC, but they provided fans upon request. We were there on the hottest day of the year and it wasn’t so bad. Any other time of year and it is probably not even noticable. Amazing included breakfast buffet. Restaurants are very nice, but pricey. Good wine selection.

This is a top tier hotel experience. From the location to the property grounds to the rooms to the restaurants, everything was magnificent. Do yourself a favor and get a balcony room overlooking the lake and waterfall - a once-in-lifetime stay.

Ein Traumhotel für Liebhaber von historischen Hotels. Ein Kraftort am Wasserfall. Idealer Ausgangspunkt für die Erkundung des Berner Oberlands. Gute Küche! Das Frühstück war ok in einem wunderschönen Saal Belle Epoque mit Live Klaviermusik. Bei der Buchung erhältst du einen QR Code, mit welchem du bis vor das Hotel parkieren kannst. Ist auch für die Seibahn zum See gültig.

Chambre confortable, Petit dej complet, il y a tout, personnel très aimable, vue magnifique entre lac et cascade, lieu exceptionnel à visiter!

Tout est parfait, sauf pour l’apéro à 17h00 où seule la partie de la terrasse à l’ombre est ouverte, la partie ensoleillée 5 mètres plus loin, donc « trop loin » restant fermée, du coup seul quelques clients « bénéficient » d’un apéro à l’ombre et avec leur doudoune… dommage !

A magical place. Difficult to reach by car from Zurich . Transportation from Ferry and train to Intervale would be easier. Sleeping with the sound of waterfalls is unforgettable!
