Clean room, bar prices a bit steep. Food was a good standard. The staff were great , good humoured and professional.

Fantastic stay at Duke of Gordon. Staff really helpful and friendly. Lots of breakfast choice. Even had a piper during dinner

It's an older hotel, but I think that is part of its charm. I love the architecture of older places. My boyfriend and I loved the view from our window. We liked watching the storm come in the night we stayed. The elevator was down when we were there, but they were working to repair it. A buffet breakfast was included with our stay, and it was good. We didn't have dinner at the hotel so I can't speak to that. There were several restaurants within walking distance. We wanted to explore the town so walked to one of those. Staff was very friendly, and there was lots of room in the parking lot. I would stay there again should I revisit Scotland. ❤️

Bedrooms were comfortable if outdated. Staff was fantastic and breakfast was good.

Good hotel, bar had some great ales and choice of malts. Breakfast great. Dinner good too although they forgot my intermediate course so had iy at thr end. Rooms and other facilities great too. Was very busy with bus tours when I was there. Great location too, I will stay here again.

Unfortunately this hotel needs updating as its decor was well worn. There were no dining options available when we arrived at 8pm but we managed to eat at a nearby hotel. The hotel receptionist was welcoming and helpful but the staff in the dining room for breakfast were unhelpful. Food options for breakfast were edible but not something i would recommend.

Great value hotel in convenient location

Never been in such a dirty room. The food was very poor not worth what they charge and no response from manager or the parent company (Cairngorm Travel) to complaints. My advice would be to book and stay somewhere else.

Great customer service. Breakfast was good. Good parking.

Lovely ckean room and comfortable bed. Breakfast was sensational. Stayed an extra night.

One person liked to play the music on the tv or radio at 7am

I had booked a superior room, the room I was allocated certainly wasn't suprerior. There was no towels, the toilet hadn't been cleaned properly and the light in the bathroom flickered constantly, the switch was broken so could not be turned off. I reported these issues to reception, they were quick to bring the towels and clean the toilet, but there was nobody to repair the light. The hotel could do with a bit TLC.

Hotellet er slidt helt ned. Gulvtæpper der er meget beskidte. Løst tapet både i fællesområder og på værelset. Specielt på værelset er tæppet så slidt at man ikke har lyst til at gå barfodet. Der manglede lampeskærme. På værelset var der spildt en stor rødvinsplet på væggen og bordet, og selv om vi gjorde opmærksom på dette lige efter check in blev det ikke rengjort i løbet af de 3 dages ophold.

Older but nice hotel. Large room. Good breakfast. Perfect for a one night stay while visiting Scotland.

Service at reception was excellent. Misunderstanding with booking was rectified with no problem. Dining room was disorganized. Meals were cold. Poor choice. Staff spent more time in kitchen. Didn't seem anyone was in charge. Went out second night to local hotel for meal and was exceptional. Hotel was busy with 3 coaches the second night. Noise from other residents in next room was unexcusable as between 10pm-12pm. On a recuperation break and just wanted peace and relaxation.
