Rating & Review Keseluruhan Home Hotel Lava Hot Springs

Had a great time but did not really see much hotel staff.

We spent a night here in late May while on a road trip vacation. Positives were the big in-room soaking tub fed by hot spring waters, easy parking, and the friendly host. However, the town of Lava Hot Springs was just not for us - overcrowded with tourists and grungy with litter. After 8:00 we had a hard time finding place to eat ... walked out of one place that was just too dirty. Four stars for the hotel but none for the town.

The tub was amazing!! The bed was really hard and the room was cold. The staff was so nice.

The people were amazing but the bed was so terrible. Everything else was good. The room was as clean as possible for how old the hotel itself is. Definitely still has a musky old smell, which makes anyone uneasy. The sheets and bedding all clean. The room was as clean as possible but the condition of the bed was awful. Especially when you are out of town to take advantage of the hot pools and massage, after that bed my back is worse off then before I left home. Definitely won’t be adding that to the list of places to stay again. Also it was very loud next to the street. We were awoken all through the nights all weekend, from loud music to stupid drivers. It wasn’t my favorite stay.

It was a nice quiet place to stay for a fun trip to an old town.

Close proximity to everything in town. Short walk to the hot springs. Older accommodations but everything was clean and in working condition.

Home Hotel just like home

Old hotel, very nice

The queen room was very small and cramped. The heater didn’t work and it was cold. They had a portable heater in the room instead. We picked tge room because of the whirlpool hot springs tub in the room. The jets for the whirlpool tub did not work. They did not disclose this until we had checked in. Would not go there again.

So close to the hot springs and there is a new restaurant down the street.

Love the place. It was cute convenient. It has free parking close to the public mineral swimming pools, which are a great option. It was my first time at this little town and I would definitely recommend it.
