スタッフの方のおもてなしや客室、食事など全てにおいて格式が高く感じられました。大変満足しました。

Les repas fournis sont exceptionnels et valent le détour. Les aliments sont très variés et proviennent presque tous de la région. La chambre est spacieuse, propre et très bien aménagé. Une navette gratuite entre la gare la plus près et l’hôtel est également incluse dans le prix. Bref, cet hôtel nous a permis de relaxer tout en découvrant la région d’Hakone.

Overall it was an OK stay. Very traditional ryokan which makes it special. However staff speaks little English which makes communication difficult at times. Staff was unable to articulate amenities and had to use an AI chat bot to answer simple questions. Also some staff members seem very frustrated and rude at times. The musty smell in certain common areas can be overbearing. Food was very different but very great at the same time. They had different food options for kids and for other with food allergies (have to let them know in advance). The onsens were great and and well maintained. The onsens I would give a 10/10, food 8/10, staff 6/10. However I would try a different ryokan in Hakone than go back to this one.

Very disappointing experience overall. The stay started badly when staff first showed us a better room, then came back saying it was a mistake and moved us to another room after we put our stuff in already, which felt very unprofessional. The food was honestly terrible, especially dinner. For a ryokan, the quality was far below expectations, and the seafood did not feel fresh at all. They also only provided two towels, and when we asked for clean extras, the staff responded rudely and seemed angry. Considering the price and what a ryokan experience is supposed to offer, I would definitely not recommend staying here.

The ryokan was not well maintained and felt quite dirty. When we were walking to the outdoor bath, we even encountered a snake. There was a strong unpleasant odor throughout the property, and the public bath area did not appear to be cleaned properly. Overall, the cleanliness and maintenance were very disappointing.

The most amazing staff who has shown us nothing but the ultimate kindness and courtesy. The place is breathtaking the beautiful and it is one of those places you never want to leave. The rooms were stunning; clean and truly offers relaxation to the absolute Max. I did not want to leave and miss these people already.

Our state was excellent!!! The hospitality was warm and welcoming., the dinner and breakfast served in our room was fantastic and we enjoyed the Tatami style. We enjoyed the onsets, especially the two private ones. Everything felt so authentic it was exactly what we were hoping for.

Dinner and breakfast were fresh and delicious! There were many parts of it that we got to try and experience which was a lot of fun. The private onsen in our room and the one that is available to use was super relaxing and soothing after a long day of travel. The room was spacious and very cozy as well.

My family generally enjoyed this traditional Japanese experience. The staff was absolutely wonderful, attentive, and friendly. The onsen on our deck was lovely, and we enjoyed our allotted 30 minutes in a private onsen elsewhere on the property. However, our room was old and smelled strongly of mildew. There was water damage on the ceiling and the wall. I opened the windows, but it only mitigated the smell so much. The futon mats were also very uncomfortable to sleep on. Even my kids complained about how uncomfortable they were, and they can usually sleep anywhere. We had a poor night's sleep and were happy to check out the next day. Finally, the food was not to our liking. I recognize this is probably just a cultural difference, but we are very adventurous eaters and we felt we needed to choke down our 8-course dinner as to not offend the staff. Overall, we appreciated the ryokan experience and highly praise the staff, but we would not return to this location.

This place was a dream after a busy few days in Tokyo. The onsens (private and public) were serene, the property and rooms are beautiful, and the service was impeccable.

Staff was nothing but super friendly. Onsens were so beautiful and the property was stunning! They even drove us down the hill to the train station so we did not have to lug all our luggage down the hill. Highly recommend and would go back!

The facility is very clean and has a relaxing atmosphere. The onsens were excellent and definitely a highlight of the stay. However, the kaiseki dinner was somewhat disappointing. The dishes lacked flavour, and many of them had a softer, mushy texture. The pacing of the meal could also be improved — there was about a 45-minute wait between courses, which felt quite long. In addition, there were occasional odours noticeable during food service that slightly detracted from the overall dining experience. The staff were courteous, but at times seemed less familiar with the details of the dishes, which made it difficult to fully appreciate the meal. Overall, while there were some positive aspects, the experience did not fully meet expectations for the price.

Place was anazing right out of a movie! I must vist. The food is great the staff accommodating.

The accommodations were wonderful, beautiful property and onsens. We loved being able to reserve the private tubs, found them very relaxing and beautiful. Meals were wonderful and staff very helpful. If the hill up to the property is a problem, we found taking a taxi or uber very easy and cheap. Highly recommend!
