The staff at check-in were friendly and welcoming, but the staff at check-out were not as friendly. Everything else was fine, but there were far too many hairs on the mattress topper, which was quite unpleasant.

All in all, very positive experience for the price. Close to Mitte shopping mall and subway station.

The self checkin is a terrible idea, and whomever thought that black is a good color for the hallways should not be used again for modelling.

I love this hotel and have stayed many times and will likely continue to during my business trips to Austria. However, this visit, front desk person didn’t want to speak English when I called ahead of my stay to ask a question. He did but basically sighed and acted annoyed. I even called him out about it and he apologized. I’m sure being bought out by a British company is challenging but employees shouldn’t act annoyed if a guest wishes to speak English which is their native language are their than try to speak German. Also, half the tv stations don’t work. And non of the English speaking channels like the BBC. The shower is crazy and leaks into the toilet area. Maybe a lip could be added to prevent this.

Very friendly staff and a great breakfast in an historic setting

The hotel is very handy for the 1st district, you can easily walk everywhere. Staffing at the hotel is minimal, just one person at the reception/bar. This was not very helpful when the keycard to my room didn‘t work. The guy on reception eventually came up to my room to try and open my door, after I‘d already made several trips to reception to try diffrent keycards. At one point before he managed to open the room door he told me to come back in the morning and they‘d sort it out! The „bathroom“ offers very little privacy, Although quirky, the rooms are clean. There are no tea or coffee facilities in the room, only an area on the fifth floor where you can make a hot drink and buy snacks. This is not very convenient if you are on the fourth floor. Some rooms do not have a street view and look straight out onto a wall.

Venligt personale. God placering, da det ligger meget tæt på en større station med mange forbindelser, herunder til lufthavnen. Vasken på vores værelse lækkede, så der var vand på hele gulvet, når vi brugte den. Det blev dog fikset. Toilettet og brusekabine er "inde" i værelset, hvilket kan være lidt underligt, særligt da glasset i brusekabinen ikke er materet. Ligger sammen med et eventcenter, der kan derfor være arrangementer med meget larm/høj musik, hvilket vi oplevede den ene aften.
