Comida muy fresca, pero no tienen variedad

This resort was very nice , the rooms are very spacious the A/C is the best . The food was great . Staff members were very friendly. We want to personally thank Maria and Estefani they were always very attentive and made our stay and my Dads birthday a special one . Ernesto from the tours was great we had a wonderful experience at paradise island it’s a must do. Specially on a Saturday when it was very busy . Hendry was very friendly and welcoming . Some evenings we had dinner outside in front of the pool and that was very nice and beautiful . The vibe was very romantic and nice. The beach is very close and a beautiful walk , The place is super nice and clean . Compared to other resorts we been this one is small and everything is close by. Gym staff Adonis were also great and very motivating . We had a wonderful time. And we will definetly be back .

the food was good, but the restaurants were not available. the place was empty, and they were using one restaurant open. i was charged on a separate credit card, even thou i paid in full because i did not bring the cc.

El hotel antes era bueno porque era solo para adultos, ahora es muy caótico por ser un hotel pequeño abierto a todo público, creo que no volvería, porque al ser pequeño está muy ruidoso, poco espacio en el buffet para tantas personas, la variedad de comida pobre y el personal en el buffet no dan para tantos huéspedes y el show es de la noche pobre

L’hôtel est assez petit mais très convivial c’est le bon point. Niveau repas c’est pas le top mais on y trouve quand même toujours quelque chose à manger Et les chambres sont assez vieillottes Par contre c’est un des hôtels les plus sympas de la zone mais la région a vraiment besoin

Viva Heavens is a small resort with a long walk to the beach. The buffet for breakfast and lunch and snacks are subpar to say the least however the restaurant food was really good. The resort is middle of the road budget friendly. You get what you pay for. Staff was friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful.

The staff was very friendly. Great entertainers. Food selection and drinks great. We liked that the cleaning staff cleaned daily.Unfortunately the room has deteriorating due to water leaking from hvac system.. the bathroom sheetrock on ceiling was peeling off due to leaking. The hvac filter was dirty and needed replacement. The hvac system probably needed maintenence. The sliding door patio had failed wheels for sliding door open..you literally had to push hard.. Hopefully this was just an isolated event. Overall, we would come back, the benefits still outweighed the pesky inconveniences.

Staff was very friendly, What I didn’t like was the restaurant reservations get filled to quickly. Lack of certain drinks , apple juice orange soda . But overall very nice hotel

Hospitality was amazing.

One of my disappointment was the lack of quality alcohol.

My family and I went for a birthday celebration and it was our first trip to DR. The service and staff were excellent, very friendly and professional. The buffet was so good and a whole variety in food choices for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The room/suite was a good size and the fridge was always reloaded with water and soda each day. The drinks were okay. The beach area was always clean. The only thing that may need to improve in the near future is Wi-Fi connection and providing more towels in the rooms. We only got 2 or 3 clean towels each day and we were a party of 5. But overall I give it a 10!!!

Great resort

I never had a parking issues at any hotel that I’ve stayed before, but this place.. beware. This place has very limited parking space. I had to leave because the vehicle I was driving was a rental and I didnt want to run the risk of something happening to it. Long story short, after I checked in, the security guard had sent me to a nearby mall to park my car. Absolutely not. The hotel had then offered to resolve the problem but at that point there was nothing to resolve because the parking was full. I contacted expedia & the hotel and they both refused to refund me my money back. Stay away from this place.

day of arrival the pool was emptied to be cleaned and was closed the following day. Causing us to have a morning with no water and the entire trip had no warm water for showering, it was cold showers all week. There was ants and fleas in our room not on beds but in drawers and counters. The food was okay but the a la carte restaurants are closed on Tuesday and Thursday so you have to eat at the buffet those nights. The app has a schedule of events but it is not accurate. We purchased a couples package and didn’t receive half the things promised. We were supposed to have a variety of classes which were open to everyone and not private and we didnt even get to go to them all. We were promised a private dj class per a package we booked. We were told a time to meet the DJ. When that time came around it didnt exist, no one knew what we were talking about. The viva club team brought a great experience to the vacation with games and contests. However they could use more variety of games/contests but overall they made the trip worth our time and kept us busy despite all the hotel/expedia inconveniences. The hotel claims all the inconveniences are due to issues with Expedia and were hesitant to supply us with an email stating we did not receive the services paid for. Over all the only compensation we received was a bottle of champagne, despite a day with no pool, a day with no running water, days without warm water, restaurants closed half the time and our package being incorrect.
