This hotel is in a great location. It is within walking distance to Tintagel Castle (Gallos Statue & Merlin's Cave). The hotel experience was great; I received a warm welcome when I checked in at the restaurant/pub up front and they walked me to my room. The room was large and impeccably clean. The bathroom was not in or directly attached to the room, but it was my use only and they provided robes for traversing the 3 feet of hallway between doors. The restaurant/pub had a vast assortment of beers on tap. I enjoyed the complimentary breakfast there (included with the room).

This is the best place we have stayed at in a long time. From check-in to checkout our stay was fantastic. The staff were so helpful and friendly and also happy in their workplace which speaks volumes. The room was second to none, it was impeccably clean and so many little extras. The breakfast was fantastic. It was so fresh and clean not a spot of grease in sight. The evening meal was delicious too. The pub is in the most central location for both shops and amenities, i know Tintagel isn't very big but yet again its perfect. This place is certainly valuable for money. We will definitely be telling friends and family about it.

Staff are excellent especially Jess in the mornings made us feel very welcome at breakfast nothing is to much trouble. food is great with plenty of options, rooms are clean with everything you need

The breakfast was lovely i am gluten free they had gluten free sausage and toast it was a good size and was a great start to the day. The staff were friendly and the room was spotless

The meals at the property seemed expensive for the situation. The ladies who gave reception and waiting were great.

Easy parking with a free parking ticket. We had an accessible room which was fantastic and more than meet our needs. The staff were some of the most friendly and helpful people we have dealt with in any hotel. They could not have done more. We would definitely stay again

Great location in the centre of Tintagel. Excellent evening meals but the breakfasts were a disappointment - undercooked black pudding and bacon and much too cool!

Die Unterkunft ist zwar schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen aber sehr großzügig bemessen. Das Restaurant ist auf alle Fälle empfehlenswert und die Umgebung ist einzigartig.

Staff seemed annoyed for our arrival as if we were putting them out. Wifi never worked. Mattresses were so bad as if we were sleeping on the coils. Bathroom had very musty smell and a continuous leak. Night shade over glass window door never worked. Would snap up whenever we tried to close to block parking lot lights. Bright green light atop door (and in bathroom) was so bright it disturbed our sleep. Only window was view of parking lot which or course they conveniently omit from their website pics. Positives: Decent breakfast and in-room tea/coffee service. Ample seating with couch and chair

Such a light apartments. Lots of space. Beds were comfy.

I wanted to check in fast and visit an important attraction before they closed. The reception lady indicated that by law she had to check us in right away and show us the room. I asked if I could leave my bags in the lobby and check in after and she said, "If I did that she could not grantee she could check us in." because she would be too busy. I was thinking that she had no choice in the matter to do so and if I had arrived at 8pm she would have to check me in if she liked it or not. ??
