This spot may not be one of the bigger roykans but is very hospitable. English friendly and onsen is tattoo friendly unfortunately the onsens are incredibly small the outside can only fit 2-3 people and the inside one is barely double that size. Dinner and breakfast were incredible.

A nice quaint little ryokan. Tattoo friendly onsen!!! A pity the aircon was spoilt. But good service recovery with free beer.

小さめではあるが、お風呂がとても気持ちよかった。 また部屋で食事であたため、ゆっくり楽しめた。 サービスも満足のいくものであり、また機会があれば利用したい。

i booked in Expedia and it said there is a private shower place. But it is not in reality. I don't know is the expedia problem or the hotel which make me so inconvenient, especially i booked 2 room, together with my parents!

Smaller than other properties in the same location but it was a wonderful stay. Service was amazing, food was delicious and staff was very helpful.

Excellent place to stay for a few days. Walkabkw to shopping street and hell valley. Fabulous food ans welcoming staff. Hot springs wonderful.

Small but clean, comfortable, well-maintained place with a kind and helpful staff. The bath is wonderful, and the phenomenal meals put this place well above other hotels in the area. Some may find the location a bit far from the shops, but it’s easy walking distance, and I found it nice to not be among the noisy tourists.

Loved every minute of my short stay at this adorable, tattoo-friendly ryokan! Both the indoor and outdoor onsen baths were clean and very relaxing, the kaiseki meals for dinner and breakfast were delicious, and the staff were friendly, extremely helpful, and accommodating. Totally regretted booking just one night! The next time I'm in Noboribetsu, I'll be sure to check to see if Kashoutei Hanaya is available for several days!

Great place to stay in all aspects. RECOMMENDED

The hotel stuff are friendly and helpful while the hot spring pond is quite small. The hotel located at roadside, convenient but not much scene to view. The food is delicious but the size is a bit small.
