From the welcome we received to the farewell the level of personal service we received from the owners Albert and Elsa were unparalleled. Very tastefully decorated, spotless and in a beautiful location overlooking the river. We only stayed one night but will definitely return and stay longer. Loved our stay.

Ägarna var tillmötesgående och underbara under hela vistelsen. Vi fick utmärkta rekommendationer. De såg till så att vi fick en väldigt bra stund i Oudsthoorn. I övrigt var hotellet magiskt. Det kändes väldigt som inredningen var väldigt noga utvald och otroligt hemtrevligt. Rummet var väldigt mysigt också. Tyvärr kunde vi bara stanna en natt men om vi har vägarna förbi igen skulle vi boka detta boende igen, utan tvekan.

A wonderful family run establishment. Clean, cosy, everything catered for, pity we only stayed one night. Exceptional breakfast and a well stocked bar.

The guesthouse is very close to the town center but still in a quiet area. Our room was big and all is very clean. Elza and Albert are great hosts and know where to go and what to do. Make sure to have enough time for breakfast it is delicious

Great guest house. Hosts were amazing and gave great recommendations of things to do in the area and restaurants. Lots of information provided before we arrived which was also super helpful. Rooms were really comfy and uniquely decorated. Loved the honesty bar and terrace to sit out before dinner. Breakfast was also delicious

Riverside lodge in Oudtshoorn is an amazing guest house. Every last detail in the room and lodge is thoughtfully planned to the enjoyment of guests. Big and spacious rooms, Beautifully decorated, spotlessly cleaned. Breakfast was a delight. Plenty and tasty. Its definitely the best guesthouse we've ever been in. Excellent location by the river and short walk to restaurants. The owners were very friendly and helpful and had thought of everything- even a very well stocked honesty bar. Lovely terrace to have breakfast and small plunge pool with recliners etc to relax by. Room was also lovely and had everything needed

We stayed in a self- catering lodge which was equipped with all that you would need to cook for yourself. We ate out at Anny’s Bistro, which was recommended by our host, Albert. The lodge was large and came with an open fireplace as well as a lovely deck with comfortable seating. A real find and great value.
