Super friendly and helpful staff. Its my go to hotel when I am working in the area

Rooms were clean and a decent size. Ample parking and a good breakfast. Great location for Guilfest. Would happily stay again.

Nice check in. Room at top of old building which was ok but could not open windows on 2nd hottest day of the year.

The property was very tired, with the consequential dirt that comes with age. The food was very average with poor portions and sauces being used rather than good ingredients.

Everything (except restaurant) was poor : Small room with no refill (for 3 days they didn't refill the soap in the shower). Internet was very slow and down many times. They charged me twice and nobody want to take responsablity and told me to ask expedia. First night full of flies in the room. Many diffeent persons at the reception and nobody seems to care about the problems and always refer the day after to the manager who didn't take any decision. It is my fifth time to this hotel But also the last ones because the place has no maintenance and be worst every year

Our third time staying and it’s a lovely hotel. Only disappointment this time was the breakfast. Over cooked black eggs and hard, stale croissants. Such a shame. Would still stay there but breakfast elsewhere.

The room was filthy with moths flying around. The bathroom was grimy, dated and in need of a serious clean. I complained to the receptionist on checkout, she didn't even acknowledge my feedback, just nodded and told me I owed £10 for parking!!

Firstly, The staff in reception and restaurant went out of their way to be helpful and cannot be faulted. Room was good but felt room and general areas were in need of decorating. Breakfast was ok but hot food looked as if it had been there a long time and most items were run down at 9am. The choice of breads were limited and to be honest breakfast was not worth the price spent.

The hotel is very close to RHS Wisley, which is why we booked it. The staff (Nicholas, in particular) and others were very welcoming and helpful. The inn is historically interesting and the room we had was a four poster and very large. Everything was clean and tidy. There was a kettle, an electric fan and a heater, TV. However, ameneties other than a shower/body wash were lacking. No shower cap or sachets of moisturiser/hand soap provided. The bed was large and OK for one night. We had a meal there. The portions were generous, the dining area was very light and pleasant. The breakfast was good with cooked options, as well as pastries and bread and juices. This is not a large chain hotel with everything available to you. It is a uniquely old and charming hotel with capable and friendly staff at front of house, the restaurant and bar. If you need somewehere very close to Wisley RHS that won't break the bank and has a bit of " Je ne sai quois " about it, then this fits the bill very well.

Apart from reception, this pub is staffed entirely by untrained junior staff that want to leave you in no doubt that they don't want to be there. Room was not very clean, breakfast a poor show, and the decor beyond tired. Would have given it three stars though just simply because my evening meal was pleasant and the place is fantastic value for money - until I made the mistake of using the property's electric car chargers - DO NOT USE THEM! £25 for two hours and my charge rose 3%. Was in a hurry to leave so emailed the property to let them know and have had no reply. Whatever, it's only £25, but still, I do feel conned! Overall, would definitely not stay again.

Staff were very friendly & helpful. The room met basic requirements. It really needs a deep clean. No shower gel in the gel dispenser! Having paid for a garden view room, I only saw a slither of grass & a picnic table! Sleep disturbed due to noise by the electric towel rail in the bathroom because when I put it off at the main switch the noise stopped. Description on Expedia was better than reality.

Nice hotel, good food and breakfast, just be aware of the added car park charge of £10 for hotel guests, which is a rip off. Otherwise an ok stay.

Had to book quickly as going to event nearby and was let down. On booking says dog friendly, but only in words. Only rooms dogs can go in is the converted stables. Paid for 4 post poster and large and rundown low budget, albeit clean.

Lovely staff , but extra charges on arrival for parking that wasn’t informed about on booking,, breakfast isn’t free it’s included in fee if chosen . Nice room but not as nice as visit 2 years prior

Lovely staff. Room adequate. Stains on the wall in the bedroom and bathroom. We attended a party in the Surrey Barn which was a lovely setting for party. There was however a lack of heating. I would however return to this lovely hotel. The breakfast was delicious.

Excellent welcome. Warm comfortable room (even if bed a tad hard) in new extension to historic old coaching inn. Good breakfast
