I want to personally thank one staff member Lisandro for going above and beyond for making our trip extra special. It was my wifes first time to mexico and she was not happy with our room and we had some issues when we first reached out to expedia. But Lisandro turned it around and was able our stay excellent. Many staff members were also very kind. The buffet and food is actually good. Its hard for me as I do find places based on good food and they didnt disappoint. Probably the best food out of any resort Ive been too.

Pros: Nice rooms, lots of dining options with great food, great customer service at bars and restaurants. Cons: entertainment wasn’t great, not many activities or shows. Was told non motorized activities would be free but kayaking was $12pp. There was also a lot of sales people constantly trying to get you to upgrade or buy a timeshare which was annoying.

Rooms were extremely clean,staff was outstanding and the food was delicious. Would recommend this hotel to friends and family.

I had the best time! My fiancé proposed to me here. The resort made sure everything was in place for my proposal. This resort will always hold a special place in our hearts. 10/10 recommend!!!

Me and my family went for our annual trip and we were very appreciative of the room upgrade to include a swim out pool. We also had a concierge, Lisandro, that was absolutely phenomenal. He assured every day that me and my family had all our needs met and if we ever needed something he was very accessible via WhatsApp with a quick response. Other staff members that stood out for their lovely service were David and Zuleyma at Route 66. Overall we had a better experience because of their kindness.

I came from Chicago to visit this resort as a 1st time out of country experience and Lisandro was phenomenal, very welcoming, and extremely helpful. Everyday I was there he delivered top tier customer service, Lisandro is the main reason I have already referred so many people to take a trip to this resort, he is just overall amazing person.Also David from Route 66 was an outstanding waiter, he was very welcoming as well, he went above and beyond to make my family’s experience the very best and he did just that. Thank you to the staff for great hospitality we will be back

Lisandro was very helpful the whole stay , went above and beyond bro make sure the stay was good! The housekeeping for the whole stay would take wash clothes and towels and not replace , would have to call every day to get more towels brought up and would sometime take them a while to bring

The property is very nice,clean,food amazing but some of the staffs are rude and if you’re black they will make you feel a nobody that’s the only reason i will not go back there

We loved the property and amenities; the staff is very professional, and the service is great in all areas. However, the specialty restaurants La Locanda & Steakhouse have very poor air conditioning inside, which makes the dinner experience super uncomfortably hot. Someone in our party even felt so bad that she could not finish the meal and had to step outside of the restaurant, it is a shame since we booked this hotel for a party of 6, and ended up having such a bad experience.

It was just an amazing experience. The food was great and the facilities were very convenient. We also booked some tours and it was just great. Will definitely come back again.

Booked the swim up pool room and loved it. Went for birthday and we told them and they sent complementary wine and chocolates and then again once we told them we got engaged! Reservation restaurants were okay but the portions are small and the buffet was not good. Same options for lunch and dinner and same every night. Only had like 2 main buffet lines that changed foods everything else was the same. When sitting at buffet we had to ask every time for water after waiting 5-10 mins. The adult side is very small. The swim up pool room is apart of adult only but they only have 1 small pool that is adults only. Literally every single thing else has kids and we were thinking it would be separate with kids and family one side and adults have their own side but no just one pool. Every restaurant but one breakfast one is family friendly so if you’re wanting separate adult and family resorts this is not that. A lot of the workers also don’t really pay too much attention and overlook English speaking families. And a lot of workers are racist. I’m white and my boyfriend is black and we got overlooked so many times even when we got to wherever before anybody else. Many times we’d be at the bar before other people and they wouldn’t come over and they weren’t busy but when other people white or Spanish speaking, would show up they would go straight to them and we’d have to ask every time to be helped and then they always had some attitude.

Property was nice and well kept. Unfortunately there is not much of a beach to speak of. Severely eroded when we visited in August of 2025. The Sargassum was definitely in full force as well, but that is out of their control. They worked diligently to remove it every day. Our swim up room was excellent, air conditioning worked well. We really enjoyed the food here, especially at the Buffet. The specialty restaurants were all a bit warm which made the experience less than enjoyable, but the food was good. The staff was extremely friendly and our Concierge Lisandro was great! He checked in with us numerous times and assisted with dinner reservations. Also a special shout out to Miguel at the el Beso swim up bar. He was excellent, remembered our drink orders when we came up each time and made a delicious margarita!

Room: Our fridge didn't work and it took three days to replace the fridge. One of the sink drains didn't drain properly, fixed on day two and our toilet didn't flush properly. Our door didn't close, unless we slammed it, because the door jam piece was bent. We didn't realize El Beso was an ADULTS ONLY SECTION on the resort. We were also asked to take a one hour "tour", which was a huge sales gimmick and took 3 hrs. Even after this, people stopped us at breakfast, in the lounge, at the pool and in other areas to ask us to take this "tour". The constant hounding to purchase something got annoying and was not appreciated. The food wasn't great. Everything in a sauce is cooked in the same red tomato sauce. Salt and pepper is not easy to find. The steak house was ok, because we ordered our steak medium rare. Crepes are good. All the seafood and meat, in every restaurant, was overcooked, it was chewy and not easy to eat. The pool in El Beso was great, until it got busy. Once it got busy there were no lawn chairs to use. We tried to sit in the "premium" section, but got kicked out, because we weren't members. When we mentioned that there were no chairs available the guy told us "too bad" and made us move, however, another couple (not premium members) were able to stay. Staff throughout the resort was rude, except our maid. The beach is covered in seaweed (not their fault). Pros: quiet in El Beso. Good drinks. Easy to get around. Rooms were clean and quiet.

O resort possui ótimas instalações. O quarto é muito bom, confortável e silencioso. As piscinas são boas também. Fomos em julho e o mar estava com bastante sargaço, nem conseguimos entrar. Os drinks e comidas alguns são bons e outros achamos ok. Mas no geral tivemos uma boa estadia.

The property is beautiful, well maintained. The rooms are nice. The bed was not very comfortable. There was a roach in my room... Not happy about that but I did expect bugs. I was disappointed in the service. There was an incident at one of the Eden pool where 3 of the guest, 2 guys and 1 lady consumed too much alcohol and clearly needed help. They were dehydrated it was too hot. The lady threw up on the ledge before she got out of the pool. the staff stood by and watched them and when we inquired about medical attention for them we were told there would be an extra charge for that. A few of us went into action to help them. The in person restaurant reservation system for the Japanese restaurant is insane. The reservation stand is open from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. we waited in line for 30 minutes! The best food on the resort is pez vela and blue moon (adult only guest) the buffet was good as well. I’m not a fan of buffets however they have omelet and pancake stations as well as foods from all around the world. I was underwhelmed with the food at the steakhouse and Mexican restaurants. We spent a lot of time at the piano bar in the main lobby. The service was amazing! Fun atmosphere. We did karaoke and played bingo. I had an amazing experience at the spa as well. In most instances the service was good not great. The night before I left I arranged for bellman service at 9:30am. At 9:40am me, my luggage and bags trekked our way to the lobby.smh
