The hotel is far away from any beaches but the rooms are huge like having apartment and completely new. The food wasn't spectacular. Its inconvenient to get from your room to anywhere because of how expansive the hotel is. This was by far the newest and most luxurious hotel we stayed at over our 2 week visit to Spain. The rooms are awesome but the location of the hotel is very far from anything. The service is good but they don't really go the extra mile for 5 star experience.

The negative views of this property all say the same thing: the customer service is not good and the cleanliness/maintenance of the property can be improved. 1 there was litter on the pathway outside our property all the time we were there; 2 the breakfast room staff acted as though they didn't want to be there. It frequently took 10 to 15 mins to get water and an additional 10 mins to get coffee/tea; 3 A la carte breakfast orders were uneven. We were initially told we could order something for our son that we could take up to him. The next day we couldn't; 4 one day, we were sitting outside on the patio. It began to rain lightly but that was not a problem as our table had a large umbrella/sombrero (as did others). I went inside to get some buffet items. When I came out, my husband was sitting in the rain. It emerged that a Spanish family asked for an additional umbrella and the server, without saying a word, took our umbrella to give to them. My husband was the only Black man sitting at breakfast that day. I don't want to jump to conclusions but it is difficult not to in the circumstances. When I objected to the way we had been treated, all of a sudden, we were allowed to order another take-away item for our son. 5 The gym at the hotel was not maintained. On successive days, there were no towels and on at least one day, there was no water. When I went to the reception to ask for them to replenish them, they seemed surprised to be asked.

Loved this property and our stay was great. The staff are above and beyond, the area is gorgeous and there is plenty to do. Family friendly and relaxing at the same time.

The hotel is gorgeous and the staff incredible. Very family friendly and the team at the hotel go above and beyond. Highly recommended stay. Its a relaxed area of the island and has beautiful spots nearby.

My husband and I took our first family vacation here with our 3 month old and we absolutely loved it. The property, amenities and food were incredible. The staff was always nice and helpful. We will definitely be back

There was a noticeable lack of competence throughout the hotel, or perhaps many of the staff simply didn’t speak English well enough. Whether it was at breakfast—where we waited 20 minutes for a matcha latte only to be told they had run out—or at the front desk, where we requested room cleaning that never happened, the service was consistently disappointing. At the pool area, we waited 40 minutes for our food, then another 20 minutes to receive the bill, which turned out to be incorrect. The drawers in the room were dirty, and the glass we ordered never arrived. The only staff who were quick and competent were the bell boys.

Disappointed – Poor Service Overshadowed a Beautiful Property While Cap Vermell Grand Hotel is undeniably beautiful, the overall experience was far from what you'd expect at this price point. The location is remote, with limited dining options, and the service consistently missed the mark. We rented a car and used the hotel’s valet service. During our stay, the car sustained damage—three small dings, likely from another car door while parked. The valet staff acknowledged the damage happened after our arrival, yet the hotel refused to accept responsibility. We reported the issue to management immediately, but received no response for two full days, despite repeated follow-ups. As we were checking out, we asked again for a resolution. There was no manager on-site, and Sergio—who had initially been handling the issue—was conveniently on leave with no one informed or available to step in. Francesco, another manager, was equally unhelpful and dismissive. What should have been a minor, easily resolved issue was dragged out and still outstanding. We are escalating this matter. For a hotel that markets itself as a luxury destination, the lack of accountability, professionalism, and basic customer care was extremely disappointing. We expected more—and unfortunately, we wouldn’t return or recommend Cap Vermell based on this experience.
